Can you do this with gel polish?

You probably will want to use a stamping polish. I haven’t tried it with gel polish but this plate has a lot of really delicate lines and in my experience anything but a stamping polish just isn’t gonna lift the same way

Can this be used with Shellac Polish that needs a uv light?

How do you get it to stamp? I bought this product and my stamper is unable to pick up the image from the template

First remove the blue film on the stamp plate then wipe it with acetone or alcohol. Choose your design and apply stamping polish and use scraper to remove excess polish , use your jelly stamper to pickup the design with a left to right motion and then apply design onto your nail. I only use stamping polishes not regular polish or gel polish. Good luck!
