Slacker

My fourth grader is a good reader. She said she thought the book started out OK. But now she’s really into it and it has definitely caught her attention. I think the book would be good for 4th to 6th graders

My son had to read this for summer reading prior to 6th grade, and he loved the book. It teaches a great lesson and it is a good read!

I love reading Gordon Korman’s books as an adult, there just fun and uncomplicated.

Even though the main character Cameron started the Positive Action Group just so that his parents could still let him play video games, this book shows you how much good student-led organizations can do in a community. This book also had dramatic storylines, such as String being kicked off the football team for his bad grades, Pavel, Chuck, and Cameron having a fight, and even a rival community & service group in high school doing the most to be better than the PAG. I would recommend this book to teens from 6th grade and up.

It was a very good read

My son had to read a story by this author for his summer reading. Since he was obsessed with video games and has been a little lazy of late, I bought this book to satisfy the requirement but wasn’t expecting much. Well I was pleasantly surprised that both my boys enjoyed the story, the characters and even learned a lesson from it. It made them laugh a lot too. My son has put the video games down more often than I expected and is helping a little more around the house. We probably should read it again soon. Lol

This book is great I can’t see enough good things about it I read it my son and also my son read it and it’s easy to read a lot of characters so YOu might need to help your child with that part but well worth it and has a good lesson: doing good deeds helps build good character and don’t let other people stop you from achieving your goal and don’t give up etc

My reluctant reader just started this and says he loves it. Arrived quickly which is exactly what we needed. Very satisfied.

Very uniquely written and a really interesting read with a concept I have never read a book about before, so highly original and would recommend for kids or adults.

I like all his books.

Great read. Great author for tweens.

My 12 year old is really enjoying these books.
