I saw the comments about how it came folded in half and that you couldn’t get the crease out of it. Well mine turned up folded in half I flattened it out for an hour, crease gone! So far I have worn mine with both sides clipped up, undo press stud and sides pop out no creasing! Well worth the price, I got the grey one to also fingers crossed help reflect the sun. Front and back part appear to help reduce glare to face and protect back of my neck. Only down side is the chin strap, I personally don’t like it. But have adjusted it to sit inside of the hat.

Nicely made but hole at back did not give full sun protection to bald me. My son enjoys it though.

Well no one thinks I look cool in this but I don’t care. It’s stopping me getting cancer of the head, sunstroke and it’s washable. The price was ok too. Why are hats so expensive.

It's comfortable and does the job but the hole at the back, whilst perfect if you have a pony tail, means that those with sparse hair at the back may get burned there.

I was scared it wouldn't fit as I have a small head but it fits perfect and keeps the sun off my face perfect for summer

I liked… the colour and the style. The fit was very good. I’m 61cm head size and this was near perfect. It would fit a bit smaller due to adjustment that is available using the strap, but probably not too much bigger. The brim size was also good and gives great ear and neck protection. Also, the brim was not floppy and stays rigid, almost exactly what you would want.I did not like… that the hat was folded in half on arrival. Yes, it was along a stitch seam anyway, and I suspect it MAY have ironed out or lost the fold over time by just wearing it. But that was an unnecessary problem right from the start.However, the reason I returned this immediately is the large open area at the back of the hat. I do not mean mesh, or small perforations, I mean it is complete open and leaves a 2inch square of your scalp skin exposed to the sun. Unbelievable. This is the part of the hat at the rear of your head, where you can access the adjustment buckle to tighten or loosen the fit. It could easily have been done by removing the hat and adjusting it from the inside. Why in gods name would you highlight that this hat offers UPF 50 protection from the sun, yet intentionally leave part of your scalp completely unprotected? It makes absolutely no sense at all. And means it cannot possibly be UPF 50, more like UPF 0 as far as I am concerned.None of the photos show this hole at the back and we can only guess why… It would certainly save everybody’s time if they did.Lots of positive reviews so I can only assume lots of people can accept it as it is. Maybe they bought it to keep dry. Maybe they have thick hair. Maybe they never had a skin cancer scare. All fair enough I guess, but completely useless for me, returned quicker than you can say peas.
