Bought it for other uses.
I got tired of the current method of getting oil/grease of of ground beef when I make my tacos. I really don't like a lot of it in my ground beef. I was currently using a lot of paper towels, etc. to press the grease out. After using a lot of paper towels to waste, that got old. Let alone, I don't have much strength in my dominate arm due to an industrial accident. I did several searches to see if such specific grease squisher existed. I had no luck. After doing a search on Google, It led me here. I bought this as an experiment and I'm glad I did!! I used the small seperator so a lot of the ground beef don't go through. Having the plunger handle is totally effective to squeeze the ground beef with ease. Does a real awesome job! It's easy to use. I highly recommend those to try this if you or someone you know is going through this. No cons.

Not Your Nicer Ricer
A crap device. First, a screw has to be loosened to attach the handle and then tightened once it is in the slot, but this requires a small hex key (Allen Wrench), which is not included. Secondly and thirdly and all-the-restly: the base is not heavy enough, so that when you fill the mini-tub and press down on the handle, which requires quite a bit of strength, the whole apparatus lifts off the table, so that two people must be involved, one just to hold the apparatus down; the potato does not move through smoothly, about half of it comes up over the sides of the tub, overflowing and making a mess on the exterior of the device and on the table; when you manage to finish the job, the entire device has to be put in the sink for cleaning. This is no improvement on the old-fashioned potato ricer. You'd be better off running the potato over with your car and picking the bits out of the tire treads. I only give this device one star because there is nothing lower.

Works well, a few details to consider.
It is a huge step in the right direction. The frame and handle is sturdy. The smasher head does not fit really tightly inside the smasher cylinder which means leakage and some cleanup after each operation. The cylinder could be larger too, for people ricing a lot of potatoes. The ricer heads dislodge at times when retracting the arm. Still, it is quite sturdy and does not bend like traditional squeeze ricers.

Great customer support
I couldn't figure out that I had to unscrew the handle screw from the end of the handle. I sent an email to customer support and they responded within 2 hours. They asked for a picture of the end of the handle which I sent to them. Again they responded within a couple hours and gave me the information I needed. I haven't used the item yet but with the other comments I will use small amounts to keep from over loading it.

Pass.
Edit: So I went back and forth with the seller about this product and thought I was making progress with them since they sent a replacement for the part that had a broken weld. Unfortunately my rating hasn't changed at all because the lever is bent too. I'm updating my video and photos to show the replacement and the overall condition of the product. You can tell the unit is really flimsily made. Still a pass. Original review: The reason I gave this 2 stars is because the piece that actually does the mashing came bent right out of the box and one of the welds is completely detached. I had to bend it into the right shape just to get it to attach to the lever. Then I'll have to buy some epoxy or something strong enough to reattach it to the flat part like it's supposed to be. So the price of this product just went up by $10-12 because I'll have to do that. In addition to that issue, the whole thing is just flimsy, thin metal. Not very good quality. Unfortunately I missed the return window because I didn't pay close enough attention to the defect in time to return it. I still haven't used it, I'll have to wait until I repair the masher piece, but my concern is, will the epoxy contaminate any food that I mash with this after I repair it?? Pass on this product, save yourself the headaches that I'm having, don't buy.
