Additional help, but not a substitute
Sleep aids, especially melatonin, help my husband. We're testing different things out there to see what produces the best results. It seems melatonin tablets best get him to sleep. Other natural sleep supplement ingredients provide a better quality of uninterrupted sleep. Teas and lotions aren't as effective but are enjoyable, help set the mood, and contribute an additional layer. This cream falls into that last category. My husband already enjoys Dr. Teal's Melatonin Body Lotion, but it doesn't have any dosage. This cream says it's 5 mg/pump, so I was thinking of it as a tablet alternative with perhaps hydrating benefits. It looks like a big deodorant stick. I thought maybe it was a roll on stick, but it is a cream. My husband said it's cream-light brown but doesn't leave a color and isn't greasy. He didn't notice a smell. He thought it helped, but not as much as the melatonin tablet he already took. In other words, he took 10 mg of melatonin that day when really, we don't want to exceed 5 mg. If it's more money and not as effective as tablets, why would we buy it again? You rotate applying it to different parts of the body, so it's not really a moisturizer. It's not as enjoyable to look at or smell as the lotion. I know there are other beneficial ingredients in this, but I don't know if this is the best or most practical way to integrate them into your routine. For money and effectiveness, we would recommend sticking with the tablets if they help you plus additional bedtime rituals like aromatherapy diffuser oils, tea, lotion...and keeping skincare separate.

It's alright
I got this melatonin cream after I'd tried one recently. Frankly, I didn't like this one as well as the first one I tried. The first melatonin lotion I got did actually facilitate my ability to fall asleep. This one, though? Not really.I will say it smells very good and leaves my skin feeling nice and smooth. It has a nice, soothing scent. It's a very cold cream, so you might want to warm it up in your hands first. Personally, I think something like magnesium is much more effective if you take it by mouth. As a lotion, it functions just fine, but if you're thinking about using it to relax, I would maybe look elsewhere?

it really works
I try not to use too much as melatonin typically can make me overtired the next day. This stuff does work and the lotion delivery system is kinda cool and different

Smell is pleasant.
At first when I saw this product, I felt a bit skeptical that it would work for me. I struggle with sleep, so I wanted to give it a try just to see what would happen. It didn't immediately put me to sleep the first few nights, but the longer I used it, the more I feel it helped. The scent of the product is pleasant and not overwhelming. You get a minty/menthol scent. The product does not make your skin feel oily or greasy on my skin. I believe after using it for a bit, it did begin to help me fall asleep. I typically rubbed the product on my legs and arms, mostly. Worth a try if you struggle with sleep.

might be itchy if you have sensitive skin
Unfortunately this is too itchy for my sensitive skin, so bear that in mind if you're sensitive too. Likely it's the magnesium, as I often find topical magnesium sprays, oils, creams, etc. to be itchy. If you're not sensitive it may be great for you...I wasn't able to give it a go long enough to evaluate results.

Try it its ok
This I put it on on my child and got reaction and I put on myself I was ok . I didn't like the smell and it felt clammy. I will see if it works tonight with myself and my daughter rinse it off. Will update results later.

Perfect for muscle cramps and midnight wakeups
I have used a magnesium cream for leg and back cramps (car accident), as has my children (competitive athletes) and husband (old LOL), for years. This is the first time I saw a melatonin cream and I was curious about how it works. The answer is . . . it works great. This comes in a lightweight plastic container. The entire thing was plastic wrapped so it was easy to see it had not been tampered with. The cream is a pale white and leans toward the thinner side, which makes it apply easily and soak in without a lot of rubbing. There is an herbal smell that I'm not crazy about, but it isn't enough to stop me from using it.I found that this works well at bedtime, but where it really shines is those middle of the night wakeups. Whether it's the dog, or a kid, or leg cramps, I usually am then up for the remainder of the night until right before I fall asleep. I found that this not only helps my body relax but also my head, and I drift off quicker. I don't wake up groggy and have had no reactions from my sensitive skin.
