I looked for underground pool lights for a long time and found this product, it was the best purchase I've made on Amazon this year. I used this for my child's grad party and they were a huge success! so many compliments- made the aesthetic for the evening. The charge lasts longer than i thought, ive had them for a few weeks now and have charged them only twice. Very easy installation, no slippage from where they were glued on. I have 4 of them for out pool size of 22 x 44 feet. I'll be getting another package of 4 to make it a little brighter. But the colors that change are cool. Remote works for all of them at the same time. Sometimes it doesn't connect to all 4 at the same time with the larger space, but then I aim it again and they all go at the same time. I take off the lights when I use my robot. But obviously, keep the glued on magnetic square (that doesn't come off). The robot goes right over it - no problem at all. These are not electric lights so I wasn't expecting it to be amazing light quality, but I was surprised at how much light they did give.

So I bought 4 - i put them all in my pool and I’ve had them a week - here’s the review. Pros - Sturdy Waterproof units. Remote works better than expected and usually can control all 4 units with a single button press. One installed they actually hold fairly well to the backer plates. I will say today my Polaris pool sweep musta knocked one off and it ended in skimmer but other then that they’ve held well. Another Pro is the available auto off feature on remote - i set mine to auto turn off after 4 hours. Which is about 3 days of use for me and then they’ll die and time to recharge. There is also a low battery indicator on each unit. Nice feature until you see it on after about 6 hours. Cons - Battery Life. And mainly because this is advertised to get 50-150 hours. That’s complete BS! I’ve fully charged these units up both times over night and I’ll say these things last 8-12 hours Max. Granted that’s at the brightest white setting - anything less bright and these aren’t very visible - and I’m using 4. Con - they should tell you to get your own waterproof adhesive. Save your self the frustration and grab your own. And yes, I know to properly prep a surface for adhesive and there glue is garbage grab your own. Again I’ve had these a week - and if these were advertised honestly and said they’d give me a solid 10-15 hours of use I would have bought them anyway. Still cheaper than 500 or so to replace my pool light - But the fact they have these falsely advertised to run 50-150 hours has me probably boxing these up to send back - false advertisers shouldn’t be rewarded. Change your product details and save this sale. Hopefully someone from their company see’s my claim and they change their verbiage. If they do I’ll keep and change this to 5stars Update -I received a nice sincere message that they’ve modified their listing. These units work great and are worth the money spent - I would recommend.

These pool lights are compact and mighty. It was so easy to install and everyone who has visited the house loves them (many have asked for the link to these). The charge lasts a long time, and they charge quick. They stay on the mount really well. The lights are bright, all the modes are fun to play around. I personally did not have any issues with the remote and connectivity. I am able to turn all the lights on at once and change the settings so they all match. Quality is great and sturdy. Buy these if you are looking to spruce up your pool!

Definitely water resistant - magnetic strength is perfect - the quality of these are amazing and hold up under my 9ft deep pool. The colors are luministic and super bright for low and high points in the pool. The battery life does not last long, 6 hours with maximum charging. Easy to pull out and re-charge when needed. Adhesive was easy to install on hanger brackets for a permanent location in the pool at your choice.

One year later. These lights are an affordable way to luxe up your pool with lighting. We have a pool light that no one wanted to fix and I've always been a little bummed because in Arizona swimming during the heat of the day is not very pleasant. We do our swimming in the evenings. When I saw these existed I jumped on the bandwagon and bought some. I have a 12,500 gallon odd shaped play pool and I bought a set of 4 lights. First off, installation was pretty easy in my pebbletec pool. I had to be somewhat generous with the glue, but it did stick really well. Have not had any problems with them since installing last year. The lights do pretty well staying on the magnatized blocks. If we get rowdy they can get knocked off but they just float around until we put them back. The remote it came with still works. But, there are a few issues. Even with our small pool, turning the lights on all at once is tricky. We usually have to walk around the pool and turn them on individually. Also, and hilariously, the remote turns on and off their deck lighting! I suspect the family might think their deck is haunted! The lights are lovely. They do not light up the pool incandescently at all. But, 4 lights in our pool do a great job of illuminating where we are swimming very well. The lighter colors do better, obviously, but the dark reds, violets, and blues looks amazing and a bit more mysterious. They do a decent job of holding a charge, but I have NOT set them on the timer yet. My plan this year is the have a 2 or 4 hour timer set so I imagine I'll need to recharge more frequently. Before I just turned them on if we were going to be outside and/or swimming in the twilight. To recharge them you just remove them from the pool, and dry them off well, open the silicone seal and they charge quite quickly. They flash red, and when the flashing is just sold red they are ready to go. Honestly, for the price, I'd replace these yearly if i had to! But, we are heading into year two and I got them inside and charged up and they are ready to go. They are not as good as lighting you would get having fancy upcale lighting installed, but the value, to me, is out of this world! I've had no problems with them. They all work. They are water tight. The remote still works. I'm so, so, so happy with these. They are fun!
