Works great! I bought a gsync monitor for my new laptop. Before that my old laptop only has hdmi port.Because the monitor can go up to 2k@165hz, which the hdmi port can't do, so I got my eye on this product.Make sure to restart your pc or laptop after connect it and unplug hdmi cable. It will detect that it's been connected, but won't work unless you did what I metion above.

Did exactly what I needed it to do since I only have 1 Main Display Port on my new Dell Thunderbolt Dock Station and this cable allowed me to have true 4K Resolution on my Samsung 4K Screen. I did not get 4K resolution with using the HDMI Port and with the Mini Display Port on my Thunderbolt now I'm up and running with 2 4K Monitors. THANKS!!!!

Works with 2k 165hz monitors

A few months back, I ordered a LG 27 inch 4K monitor to use with my laptop. Using this mini DisplayPort was the "only" way to get the 60Hz refresh rate the monitor boasted, i.e. the supplied HDMI and USB-C cord did not do the job. I'm so glad I ordered this mini DisplayPort. Oh, btw, the monitor did come with a DisplayPort but not the mini that I needed to connect to my laptop.

I purchased this cable so that I could hook up my gaming laptop with a 240hz monitor. It works great and fully supports 240hz at 1080p. Great affordable cable.
