I have had now forv2 years. It has lasted with no problems. Strong material, works with np problems and will be ordering again as we are making the horse pasture . Easy to install any always stays hot .

This was amazingly easy to set up for a temporary goat clearing fence. I did 5 wires (3 hot and 2 ground) and it was easy to create a jumper to them and use with standard tensioners. Fence was about 300' long and there was no issue on my posts 15' apart once I got the shock working. I even had to cut one wire (when my young emu somehow got a ground wire wrapped around his thigh) and was able to tie it back together and tension again with no loss of functionality. I can tell it will be easy to coil and move to the next spot also. As with all electric fencing, be sure to make sure the wires are clear of grasses, shrubs, etc or they will ground out and not be effective. Most animals will not test this many times after the initial testing period. I also had to shorten the hair on my goats back to make it effective when he tried to crawl under.

Works exactly as described. Good quality, very durable. I use it with an electric fencer, and it keeps the horses out of the cattle pen and food. The horses didn't care too much for it......They voted Nay.

Must have for temporary enclosure or as layered protection. Use it to clear land with goats.

I had previously purchased another brand at a comparable price, and it worked well. It has been put up, taken down, and reused multiple times with zero breakage or loss of function. I've even pulled it out to use as string line for other fencing endeavors. I would have repurchased the same brand, but there was a delay on the shipping time, and I needed to get line up ASAP. I purchased 3 of the large rolls of this brand to run 4 temporary lines around a 4-acre pasture because we have a jack donkey that needs to be separated from the rest of the herd before he drives them all crazy with his... um... male tendencies. We installed it the way we always do with wooden corner posts and t-posts with clip-insulators for the line posts. Hand tension only. This line seems to work fine, however, we had multiple breaks occur in the line while running it. If you've ever had a 3000 ft line break while tensioning, you know what a pain it is to stop what you're doing, find the break, repair it, and then start again with tensioning. Luckily, polywire is easy to splice with a simple figure 8 knot, and then you're back in business. I still give it 4 stars because it's a good line and the breaks aren't the end of the world, nor do they affect the function of the line -- it's just inconvenient having to redo entire lines because of random breaks. I would purchase this brand again, but only if the other brand I bought before wasn't available.

Love this wire. Easy to sting up and light weight to where it stays tight. Easy to install and wire quality is great and doesn’t seem to break down with the sun.

This is the first time using this type of wire. I have seen something like it in Norway to keep sheep in a pasture and thought I would try it. Very easy to set up, ties like string and is a great deal more visible than the single strand of wire I have used in the past. I am using it to keep ground hogs out of my garden as they can jump over my three-foot wood fence.
