Of Potato Heads and Polaroids: My Life Inside and Out of Pearl Jam

Bought this book as an extra Bday gift for my hubby, but not before thumbing through it first. Great purchase and great price point too. Mike captures his world through several decades with what looks to be the same trusted polaroid camera. Who doesn't love a guy who is comfortable and funny enough to cross dress for a photo? I cracked up! The photos brought out several emotions white thumbing through the pages of the many legends we have lost over the years, especially the Soundgarden section (Chris Cornell RIP). Bravo to Mike for keeping it real. If you are a Pearl Jam, grunge and or rock fan period, this is a must have for your collection. Packed with candid never before seen photos shot by Mike with and of many Seattle and international legends. Mike's wife, children and family are a lovely bonus.

Wow what a cool book. A real inside view to Pearl Jam. I don’t think you can do much better than this. I hope they keep putting it out as it’s historically important to the history of Pearl Jam. By the way if you’ve never heard of Pearl Jam welcome to earth

I, like many of the other reviewers on here, bought this for my husband as a birthday present. He is a huge Pearl Jam fan and so he of course loved it. It arrived in perfect condition, and we have really enjoyed looking at the different pictures together. I highly recommend this book especially to any Pearl Jam fan, but really to anyone who likes photography, 90's pop-culture, or alternative music!

It's a must have if you're a Pearl Jam fan and also a big fan of this amazing musician that is McCready!

I Ordered this book as a Christmas present for my husband. The book itself looks really cool for any Pearl Jam fan, however unfortunately the cover of the copy i received is really dirty which is frustrating since it was intended to be a gift.

Alot bigger than I thought it would be, it's a hard back & very cool! Bought as a gift for a music junkie & think they'll love it. Fast shipping!

Great addition for any Pearl Jam fan. I would recommend buying the book in person from a bookstore, so the condition could be verified. My copy had marks all over the cover, it looks like it was a used copy.

This is a really nice book. For some one 6 years younger than Mike McCready and with a affinity for 90s Seattle based music this is a great journey into then and now. Also from being young and independent and into family life. Not only his journey but mine and many others. Except for the music of course as my superhero powers are NOT musical whatsoever unlike Mike McCready
