Awesome Makes being a hero easy!!
So this was the fastest, safe, and bigger hits I have had with my Grandkids in a long time, First the 6 years old did hers easy peasy, well then the 5 year old had to show he was not to be outdone and it was a slam dunk, then the 4 year old stepped up to the plate he owned it like a pro and was so impressed with himself, last and no less accomplished was the three year old, she was already bubbling over with excitement, and bam, home run!!!! 4 self peeled and sliced apples in less time than it takes grandpa to do 1 or 2. Now its a routine that must be done every visit. On the complaint of the suction not holding, not my first gadget, and I knew just what to do. If you don't mount it on a absolutely glass smooth surface, it will last only a couple time and then have to be retightened, the trick I use, I use a large glass cake baking pan and mount it to one side, you will have to release it with the handle to get it off and as a Bonus.. the cake pan catches all the dropped pieces of apple, peel juice etc. So cleanup is easy. Also wash the rubber bottom and dry it good. If its not clean it will release, if its to wet it will walk. Let the fun begin!!!

The peeler blade is razor sharp.
Everything works as advertised. I've only. Used the peeler on apples so far. It works great for apples. Two things that I found is the peeler blade is very sharp and caution should be used when handling and cleaning it. The other is the core comes off the mounting prongs sometimes, whe you remove the apple after coring and slicing the appple. It is usually easy to remove the core by pushing it out of the apple. Not a big deal it just requires more handling of the finished product.

Perfect for Apple Processing
I've been making homemade applesauce 1-2x/month for the last year. While it is super quick and easy in my Instant Pot the prep time took forever. I know you can leave the peels on but my family prefers smooth verses chunky sauce. Needless to say, I wanted to upgrade from my basic peeler and knife. This peeler/corer attaches via strong suction to your countertop. I have not had any problems with suction coming loose. This peeler did take a little fidgeting to figure out since the "instructions" were basic at best. I also had to adjust the blade so it wouldn't gouge too much of the apple flesh. You can use it to peel and core or just peel. I can imagine you could just core and not peel although I have not tried it. I do not like using the corer as it seemed to make a big mess and waste a lot of the good part. In the end this does do what it is supposed to do and it is easy to clean. Even though I am also using the apple corer from Pampered Chef my processing time is down to 1/4 of the time it took me before. That alone is worth it to me. 👍🏽🙂🍎🍏

Great gadget
This gadget is easy to use and makes peeling apples quick. The only drawback is the effectiveness of the suction. However this does not take away from the device and could be something I may not be doing correctly

Not As Good As The One It Replaces
I purchased this one to replace an old, heavier model that I have had for years. This one weighs half as much as the old one. It seems to work the same but I'm concerned that it will not hold up. I'll let you know.Do not buy this piece of junk. I first gave this three stars based on first impressions. Since then I spent the last few hours trying to peel, core and slice eight pounds of apples for Thankgiving pies I am totally frustrated. First, the peeler is junk. The spring is too strong and it digs into the meat of the apple so far that the apple stops turning. Second, the auger is too sloppy and unless you press hard on the handle towards the slicer the slice come out in varying thicknesses from paper thin to the proper 1/4 inch. Third, the corer works great. So I spent my time peeling apples the old fashioned way. I did core and slice them on the thing but only after I figured out the handle pressure trick. I wish I hadn't dropped and broke my antique that worked just fine. I am requesting a return and refund from amazon and I will look elsewhere. A friend told me he thinks Williams Sonoma has a good one. I'll go check it out.

Great Little Gadget
WOW - I knew about this type of apple peeler/corer, but had never used one until now. Really saves time and so easy to use. Wish I would have bought one years ago!

A Little Disappointing
The first time I used one of these I was doing Pampered Chef Demonstrations in people's homes. This model, is better looking but it Does Not stay put. The "suction mechanism does not hold. So, I can make do, but I ordered it for my daughter to help her out when her almost 4 year old son (he's amazing!) loves apples. I'd hoped he would be able to actually Do the cranking.I'm gonna figure out an easier way to hold it down. Not the fault of the seller, but Imay buy a different style until I get it figured out...
