No more unwanted waking from sleep mode (mostly)
Got this mainly to keep the mouse and keyboard from waking up the computer from sleep mode when the freaking wind blows. Used some Command strips to stick it to the side of the case, and it works perfectly. Windows 10 still wakes the computer up sometimes but that's maybe 1 or 2 times a week, as opposed to 2x daily, so I'm happy.

Was Going to Return For Refund
Had issues running a development board and a ft232 on this hub at the same time.These devices worked flawlessly with their own usb connections or from another powered usb hub.Failed consistently with this hub without external power, but worked once I found an adapter that fit.This issue occurred on other unpowered hubs.The ft232 may draw quite a bit more than expected.Flashing firmware would sometimes fail when alone on the unpowered hub but works flawlessly when plugged into the same host usb..So unusable in my case without the external power adapter .. will keep it for now.

Love this little thing!
I bought this USB hub to replace the one my mother "borrowed" from me. I love the fact that it is all black (no eyesore here), has a connecting cord/cable of decent length, and allows for up to 4 devices to be charged and/or used at once, thus greatly expanding the single port I have on the side of my desktop PC. And I absolutely love the fact that with the flick of a switch, you can turn individual ports off/on (indicated by soft blue light on or off)...this prevents me from having to constantly plug in/unplug devices, which can be really annoying. Mom's gonna have to keep her mitts off of this one! lol
