I'm happy with the pleasant defuse glow that this fixture produces. The remote makes it easy to select the color temperature and brightness. Be sure to buy your CR-2032 battery which the remote needs but does not include.I hope when I install the next generation of lights, that there is a more solid plate which sits against the ceiling which sets the height so that the fixture can be clipped on easily. With the current design the plate that screws to the ceiling can crush the plaster (if the electrical box is set into the ceiling) and prevent the fixture from fitting. I had started out using the more narrowly spaced screw slots and the plate pulled into the ceiling box enough that I could not latch the fixture to the plate. The lever wire-nuts are easier to install one handed than the old screw-on wire-nuts but it would be ideal if the plate had a socket for the fixture to plug into rather than having to make the connections while holding the fixture.For future installers, before getting up on the ladder and connecting the wires practice latching the fixture to the plate in a comfortable position with the fixture on a counter-top. This will give you a sense of how the cable has to sandwich between the fixture and the plate. Standing on the ladder swearing may not be a necessary step. Again if in doubt use the longer slots to screw the plate to the ceiling. Good luck.

Very bright!! Sleek look. My wife is HAPPY!!

I love this light so much and we use in in our “home theater”/ basement. We did have some initial frustration because the remote didn’t work. The directions aren’t as clear as we would have liked BUT you have to pair the remote with the light through their app. We did that and then promptly deleted the app. Just want to switch the main light on and then the nightlight for during movies so you don’t fall in the dark. The kids love to “pick the color” of the nightlight for the movie. I love that it’s a VERY bright main light and lights up the entire basement.

We put this light in our master bedroom. There is only one ceiling light in the room and the previous fixture wasn't bright enough. This one has plenty of brightness and the color back light option is very nice. My wife likes to put up Christmas lights during the dark winter months and she gladly took them down after I installed this light.I love having control of the light with my phone. We have been leaving the colored back light on when we go to bed and use the timer on the app to have it shut off after awhile. I also plan to use the scheduling feature when we are out of town to turn the light on and off for our cockatiel.When installing, try to get the mount to sit flush with the ceiling. My junction box was actually sunk in and I pushed the mount into the drywall to go flush to the junction box. This made installing difficult because the light actually hangs a little off of the ceiling so it was tough to push it tight enough and twist lock it into place.One feature I would like to see changed is the ability to set a personalized brightness percentage for the included remote control. Sometimes you don't want to have to fire up the app to turn the light on so it is nice to just quickly push a button on the remote. Unfortunately, the light then comes on at 100% ... which is VERY bright. For context, I usually have ours set to around 20-40%.Overall, I am a very big fan of the light and my biggest issue with it is something that could probably be fixed with an app update or maybe it's already there and I just need a better understanding of the app.

Remote control easy access

The brightness settings are great, even at the warmest setting the light is perfect. The backlight itself is pretty good too. It also connects to the switch, so you don't have to totally rely on the remote itself. Worth the money, easy installation, I got the 12in and that was enough for our little kitchen, recommend completely.

But here we are. My wife wanted some new lighting for the kitchen and to replace a really old yucky chandelier in the dining room. So naturally, she asked her blind husband to find a smart solution... which I did. Now these lights are pretty slick. The biggest trick is getting them on their ceiling brackets. Make sure the bracket sticks out more than you think it should, otherwise you'll be like us, straining above our heads, trying to get the darn things to stay. It took us at least an hour to figure out the issue. Ah well, they're up and they're pretty nifty. At least, now I can tell Alexa to turn off lights and don't have to worry about leaving them on all night. Now we're thinking of adding them to our basement setup. Guess whose going to buy those as well? :)

Great lighting with good features but remote DOES NOT include battery. It doesn't even mention anywhere what type of battery it needs. Luckily I had CR2025 battery kicking around in the house, it works with it but not a perfect fit.In side of the remote its plain blank. No mention of battery type. Very disappointed.

This light fixture provides you with enough brightness to light up a 15x15 room without a problem.The smart features that allow you to control the brightness and warmth of the light are very easy to use, either by the app or by linking it to an alexa device.The color ring feature that can be used as a subtle night light or ambiance light can be a great feature for a living room or a bedroom.

Everything is fine. Easy to install. The only problem is no idea what is the model number of the cell battery for the remote.It is not listed in the printed menu, not on the remote… but in the customer comment… seller please put that info into the description

Bought this for my kids room and he loves it been running no issues for 3 months now. bright when you need it and neon colors for a night light that can be adjusted
