Did not work for us
Although she was adorable in this she also hated it and I worried that it was hurting her. It worked kind of like a swaddle but after a short period of time in it she would start crying like she was hurt and I had to take her out of it to get her to calm down. I think it just squished her uncomfortably.

Life saver.
I have a very petite 4 month old. She's about 12 lbs and she still fits in the small very well in the 5-13lbs size. She sleeps in her woombie every single night. Around 2 months old we stopped using it and she became very dependent on her swing. She had a hard time falling asleep in her crib without out. As soon as we went back, she was able to sleep in her crib again. Yay! I have no idea what we'd do without it. She's so much more peaceful when she's in her woombie. When she was a newborn, if she was crying, we'd just zip her up and she'd calm down. Even all of the nurses at the hospital thought it was the coolest thing. The Tahiti is a gorgeous color. It's so bright and fun and very neutral. We're not sure if we are going to have more kids and since woombies are a little pricier than other swaddle brands (but worth every penny, I swear!) I don't want to get different colors for any future babies (not that boys can't wear pink :P). I love that there is no wrapping, tucking, or worry about her escaping from the swaddle. Simple zip and button and she's stuck. I love that she's stuck. She loves that she's stuck. The woombie also allows her to move her arms around and get comfy. They're not trapped in one place like some other swaddle brands. The fabric is snug, yet stretchy. I imagine it really does feel like a womb. She can move around normally, but is still confined. It is very soother for her. Having her tightly swaddled makes it so much easier for me to dream feed her in the middle of the night without waking her up. That guarantees a good night of sleep for the both of us.I've added some pictures of her using it, most of them are newborn pictures. I don't seem to have any recent ones.

It was a nice material, but it was not for our son
It was a nice material, but it was not for our son. I couldn't fit him into it the first week! Not for a bigger child (he was 22in and almost 9 lb). It was so tight, I couldn't imagine leaving him in it. We swaddled our son for months, but I wasn't comfortable with him being super squished in this (I could barely zip it up - he cried the whole time). He didn't mind being swaddled, he just didn't like this.I really wanted to like this, seemed like a nice concept.

Great semi-swaddler when you are ready for your baby to move a bit
I agree with the review by JMB. We have a somewhat 'high needs' little guy (8 weeks). We tried swaddling with his receiving blankets and then the velcro Swaddle Me blankets - he eventually busted out of all of them. However, he simply was NOT sleeping without being swaddled. We had purchased the book and DVD of "The Happiest Baby on the Block" (LOVE IT!) and knew that swaddling was helping, but were frustrated having to reswaddle him in the middle of the night. I started searching online and found the Woombies. I ordered and original and a Leggie (since, with reflux, our little guy sleeps in his swing so he is elevated and so he has movement to keep him asleep). These have not been the miracle "my baby now sleeps through the night the minute after I zipped him in" item that some parents found it to be. However, he hasn't busted out yet and he loves being able to move his arms some. It makes nursing at 2am interesting because he can move his arms up under his chin and sometimes blocks his mouth and I have to move his little hands away, but it does keep him more confined than open sleeping and last night, for the first time (he's had and worn the Woombie about a week) he slept a 5 hour stretch! Not just because of the Woombie, but it did accomplish the swaddling goal to an extent. His sleep has improved a lot because of us treating his reflux we found out about 2 or so weeks ago. We are still getting a Miracle Blanket for a more true swaddle, but the Woombie is a great product and I think will be a nice transition item when we move from true swaddling to open sleeping. Also, both the Woombies I got through Amazon (an original in Tahiti and a Leggie in green) had the soft snap closures under the chin, so no velcro. They are soft and haven't hurt my baby at all. They are very snuggly and do keep him cozy and cool overnight. I would buy them again and we are using them daily - great for naps to distinguish day (less tight swaddle) and night (we'll use a real swaddling blanket). I gave 3 stars simply because some of the reviews through the Woombie website make it sound like the minute you zip your child up their sleep struggles are gone - not our experience. But it is a nice product. I would say it is a semi-swaddler, not a full swaddle since it is stretchy and arms can move more.

I love the fact that it zippers and has two so ...
Works perfectly for my newborn. I love the fact that it zippers and has two so I don't need to take baby out to change diaper. Would be better if it was a little more breathable since it is for newborn babies but other then that no complaints.

Didn't work for us
Sorry to be a downer but my child did not like these at all. To Be Fair I never got him swaddled in anything. I really felt he was in danger of rolling over so I stopped using all together.

Very interesting product. Easy to use.
If you're into straight-jacketing your infant, this is the product for you! Kidding aside, its a very simply way to bundle up your newborn to keep them snug. My son is 6 pounds 15 ounces and he fits into it just fine. We typically zip him up to his armpits in order to leave his arms free. He seems to struggle and grunt more whenever we lock his arms inside of it.Certainly a much quicker way to swaddle a newborn compared to a typical receiving blanket. A huge bonus in the middle of the night when you're half asleep and just need to change a diaper and get them back to bed.

Didn't work for us, but could be a great product for someone else.
This might have worked better had we started with this product. When our babe was 2 months old she already had formed her opinion on swaddling and this did nothing to change it. It is very snug, but did have some room so her arms could move a bit.
