This powder makes really good protein shakes! Though it doesn’t have as much protein as some other brands, I appreciate that it doesn’t have fake sugar or a bad after taste. Personally, I like it more chocolatey, so I add an extra 10g of cocoa powder per serving plus some chocolate chips and blend it up with milk. Still a touch chalky, but you don’t notice after the first sip. Just tastes like a very rich cup of chocolate milk, but has very little sugar and more nutrition.

I use this product in various forms like, smoothies to cereal fillings and also as a hot chocolate 🍫 😋 Does what it states to do

really gross tasting! its chalky and weird and not really a chocolate flavor at all but with that being said its the only protein powder i can find that is stevia (or monk fruit or whatever artificial or natural sweetener) free and i love it because of that! also it really keeps me full the mornings im too busy for a mid morning snack i mix it with oat milk and it’s tolerable enough to get down but i mean its protein powder so you cant expect much flavor wise, probably would be better in a smoothie or something with multiple ingredients ill keep buying it though for the fact its made with natural cane sugar

I am writing a review because I found it difficult to decide on a protein powder. Pros: vegan (but made in the same factory as products with eggs), no artificial sweeteners, tastes pretty good for a protein powder (tastes like real chocolate- but pretty mild in flavor. I’ve tried it in coffee, smoothie and just water. It in coffee is my go to- objectively the worst tasting application, but fits with my preferred use), homogenizes easily if you put the scoops on top of the liquid ( clumps pretty badly if you scoop then liquid). I say homogenize rather than dissolve because- it is still a protein powder and doesn’t really go fully into solution like sugar or salt. Cons: low protein content (but probably fine if you are looking for a low cal supplement like me rather than as a part of a workout routine), still has that characteristic gritty protein powder texture when homogenized in a liquid (but if in a smoothie it has no discernible texture of its own). I think it’s definitely down to needs and preferences and this was a winner in my book.

I bought this because it’s stevia free. It does have a medium strong smell and taste of pea protein. It’s not gritty but has that consistency of pea soup or watery mashed potatoes. The chocolate flavor needs to be stronger to mask the pea flavor. I use coconut milk to blend since it adds some extra flavor. My tongue and roof of my mouth felt raw after drinking about half a serving. I don’t think it’s from the coconut milk since I use coconut milk in my coffee without issue. I’ve tried other protein powders such a AG and it burned my tongue and mouth to the point where my tongue was tingly for days afterwards. Both powders use pea protein so I think I’m slightly allergic. The weird thing is I can eat fresh peas without any reaction, go figure!
