This book had some basic design info. but as the title indicates, it has many different types of step by step instructions for many arrangements I liked. I recommend it for that.I purchased four different books on this subject.The other books I purchased were:“Silk Flower Arranging: Easy, Elegant Displays” by Marcianne Miller.If you are looking for pretty pictures, this is your book. Of the arrangements in here I found not a single one that I would use. I actually found them kind of funky, and it did not give you an example of each different types of arrangements in my opinion.“Decorating With Silk & Dried Flowers; 80 Arrangements Using Floral Material of All Kinds” by The Home Decorating Institute published in 1993.I found excellent step by step instructions for different arrangement types that I will actually use. I recommend it.“The Art of Arranging Silk Flowers” by Lawrence Porricelli published in 1986. I really liked the book because of how in depth it went into the basics of design. I highly recommend it for that. Not for step by step instructions.I went to all of the trouble to provide this detailed information so you won’t have to guess at what you are getting like I did.

This book is a great book for illustrating how to build an arrangement. I liked that it was a no-nonsense book, and strait to the details. Not talking about the kinds of flowers which I can look-up myself somewhere else. But right to designing, with good pictures. They made it easy to accomplish what was in the picture, even if you lack the confidence before you did it. Good book.

Got the book to make flower arrangements. Is a great book for that

This book tells you exactly what you need to make these arrangements and gives step by step instructions on how to put it all together. I am a beginner and I could see myself being able to create these arrangements. And, I have no artistic ability at all.

It has a lot of info, but I was looking for more advanced, one of a kind ideas.

This was given to a family member as a gift, and it was a hit! Beautiful designs and perfect for someone who enjoys crafting or wants to learn.
