Decent. lowest calorie I have found for the price per 100g, taste is good, brownie is best (also had vanilla) had a total of 3 boxes. Prefer these to protein yogurt.

Good taste and consistency

Some batches are fresher, softer, chewy. Some others are simply hard to bite and look grey(not stored properly)

Not bad for the £8 paid for 16 bars. Worked out at 50p a bar and each bar has minimal sugar and 10g of protein. Taste wise, not bad but not fantastic either, they taste semi sweet, have that cheap waxy chocolate flavour coating and the inside...well.....to me it tastes like vanilla icecream....but chewy as odd as that sounds. I think my wife put it best when she said they tasted like those cheap choc ices you got as a kid, I think that description is bang on. I think I would try the chocolate flavour ones. But as I said, fornthe price they are good as an little snack and protein boost while not being full of sugar.

These are great bars. My primary reason for purchasing, and trying these was the low sugar contents, also, that they're quite small. Some protein bars can be big bulky bars that just taste heavy and dull. These are chewy, taste chocolatey, and are small enough for 3 or 4 bites to be enough. They're perfect for me, as a post-ride snack to ensure I'm recovering correctly and consuming enough protein. It's also good to be able to get bars for less than a £1 each. 30 bars for £27 (at time of this review) is a pretty good deal in comparison to some of the other ones. Also, being PowerBar, you know you're getting a quality product. Would definitely recommend if you want a smaller protein bar, that isn't too heavy, and not too sweet.

Not the kind of bar you want to buy for exercise nutrition....yes I know how that sounds but each bar provides about 9g of protein so in reality its more of a snack during a long walk. That said you need plenty of fluids (as with all protein bars) and the taste is about ok to good I guess so this might not be the kind of snack you want whilst out hiking.

Very tasty and nice texture. Not the largest protein bar available, but low sugar content and decent size to go with a coffee.

I eat these protein bars all the time - they're fairly cheap, and texture and flavour is very pleasant. They're also a good size for titrating to your protein needs - they're a smaller, lower calorie bar, so they're great for topping up if you haven't quite met your protein goal, but you can always have 2 after a bigger workout. Highly recommended!

Hier fiel mir auch der Powerbar Proteinriegel ins Auge. Zum einen, da er mit „Low Sugar“ gekennzeichnet ist und mit den 107 kcal pro Riegel ist er für einen Riegel noch im komplett normalen Bereich. Genug Proteine und Ballaststoffe hat er auch. Da ich Sport treibe, hilft es mir besser, an die tägliche Dosis von Proteinen zu kommen, zum anderen zählt er, da er ein wenig süß ist in meinen Augen noch immer als Naschen. Somit muss man keine Riegel kaufen, die mehr aus Zucker bestehen als alles andere. Geschmack und Konsistenz: Vom Geschmack her muss ich sagen, das er echt lecker ist. Die Sorte „Chocolate-Brownie“ wurde echt gut getroffen. Sie schmeckt nicht so künstlich wie manch andere. Die Konsistenz ist weder zu fest, noch zu weich. Auch hier wurde es sehr gut getroffen. Einsatzmöglichkeiten: Egal, ob als Snack im Büro, als Zwischenmahlzeit oder vor dem Training. Er passt in jede Tasche und wiegt nicht viel. Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis: Es ist schwer zu sagen. Ich hole mir die Riegel nur, wenn sie im Angebot sind. Ansonsten wären sie mir zu teuer. Somit würde ich sagen. Sofern sie im Angebot sind, ist das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis komplett in Ordnung. Weiterempfehlen? Ja, mir gefällt der Geschmack gut und die Inhaltsstoffe sind in Ordnung. Ich habe hier nicht wirklich etwas auszusetzen. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Fazit: Ich finde den Riegel lecker und er liefert genug Proteine. La barre n'est ni fermé, ni élastique. Il n'y a pas de consistance. Pas de matière. Ça se disperse très vite dans la bouche et disparaît, même pas le temps de mastiquer un peu. Je ne renouvelerai pas cet achat. J'ai mal pour min argent. 16bars 22euros. Quant au goût du yaourt et fruits rouge, n'en parlons même pas. Le seul point positif, c'est qu'ils n'ont pas forcé sur les polyols pour faire à tout prix une barre "sucrée". Elle n'est pas sucrée mais c'est vraiment très pâteux. Aucun aspect protidique en bouche. Ça fait plus "féculents" qu'autre chose.
