Waring(BB180) 44 oz Commercial Blender - NuBlend Series

Mar 15, 2017: As a commercial blender, this doesn't have all the options, buttons, and flashy bells and whistles you might find on a home kitchen counter-top blender. But, this thing is a monster when it comes to blending! With a 3/4 horsepower motor it will mix/blend anything you might drop in the carafe. We got this to replace a unit that, after more years than can be remembered, simply had a broken plastic bearing sleeve at the blades. It is a bit loud (not unbearable) so expect that if you get one. A replacement sleeve (now steel) and gasket would cost almost half the price of the new unit we got from Tundra Supply. And, the unit we got from Tundra Supply came with the new steel bearing sleeve (unexpected)! For about $98, why wouldn't you get a commercial grade blender?e: Apr 15 2019: The coupling from the motor to the blades failed (bolt sheared). Required replacement with Waring 027097 Blender Coupling. Apparently there was a product change that these parts are different depending on which motor is installed in your blender. The blender models are all the same, it's a matter of production date that the motor changed and required a different coupling. And if you use the wrong coupling it appears the shaft may shear on first or second use. Once replaced the blender still works very well.

Bought same model 15 years agoGreat heavy duty commercial blender.This current blender is not a quality build....it's all lightweight plasticsIt is a cheap ordinary blender perfect for a "suzy-homemaker kitchen"Update October 29 2023shaft broke in half after 2 months & 22Blending milk banana protein powder !!!!!

prepared ice cream smoothies to start off with this blender, throws everything into the glass looking plastic jar. By looking at the jar alone, one couldn't notice it was made of plastic. To proceed, I plug the cable cord into the 110v power socket and getting ready to see how this little machine perform. Turn the motor switch lo, and unflip the plastic jar top to see how the blades were spinning the ingredients. It was blending nicely in a circular clockwise motion and the blades were moving at low rpm. Next I turn up the motor rev to Hi to get feel of the made in USA motor power. Wow .... amazingly high speed rpm by waring pro. At this point, the ingredients that were poured inside had become very fluid. I turn off the motor, pour the smoothies into a glass and that is the end of the review.Before I end my review, I'd like to point out that this blender had performed to my expectation from the build quality to the high speed motor but the volume given out of this blender during the hi speed blending process is quite loud. It was very noticable.

I bought this to replace my old Waring commercial blender. It is exactly the same except the blade assembly is a little different and this newer version is MUCH lighter. It is high-powered blender and will turn ice into powder in seconds. Good blender for making smoothies equal to those at "Smoothie King" but at a fraction of the price.

To me thos is the best blender. The smoothies come out great as if you bought it from a smoothie store
