Le Creuset simple style and craftsmanship
I love Le Creuset's simple style and craftsmanship for their small tools. I have another small spatula from this brand and it's lasted forever. Honey sticks nicely to the grooves. I conditioned the real wood handle with some cutting board wax/oil for longevity. Only thing is the "head" can't be removed like my small spatula so can't put in the dishwasher to sanitize. Will hand wash. Recommend this dipper.

I Love This - And, the Secret to Using a Honey Dipper!
The media could not be loaded. I love this thing! I recently brought some honey that was *very* thin and runny, so much so that I couldn't even put some on a spoon and get it to my cup without it running off the spoon no matter what I did. I'd never used a honey dipper before, figuring that they would drip even worse than a spoon - but out of desperation I ordered two: this one, and the RSVP Endurance Silicone Honey Dipper .Well, I have discovered the secret to using these without them dripping *at all*! The secret is that after you dip your honey dipper in your honey, you need to *hold it horizontally* over your honey jar, and twirl it a little bit (still keeping it horizontal) and by the time you've twirled it a couple of times, there will be no drips! (See video - I apologize for the weird noise on the video, you may want to turn sound off while you watch it.)The reason that I got two was to test two different ones, and here's what I discovered: This Le Creuset honey dipper holds a smaller amount of honey than does the RSVP one. That's neither bad nor good, it's just a matter of preference as to how much honey you want from a single dip.The other thing I've discovered is that the wood handle on this one will stain quickly if you are putting it in tea. I love wood, and I don't really mind, although if you do mind, you might prefer the stainless steel handle of the RSVP brand dipper.

Well-made honey dipper
I am very happy with this honey dipper. It is well-made and easy to handle. I also use it to stir the honey in my tea. I only wish there was some way to tell approximately how much honey I get when it is "loaded up." A tablespoon?

Works well, could be longer
Smaller than I thought it would be, gets to be a sticky situation getting honey from deep jars. Other than that it's fantastic.

Easy to wash!
Aside from being super cute, the best part of this dipper is the easy cleaning! The silicone dipper easily separates from the stick for a wash and slides right back on after drying.

A bit expensive, but...
Silly would be the word for this piece. It is a six inch long honey dipping stick that I blew twenty five hard earned dollars on. My wife mocked me. My foodie friends mocked me. I even mocked me.But, you know what? Screw it. It makes me happy. It makes me smile. Dipping it into an amber, blueberry honey and lifting it out, slowly rolling it until the honey stays and drizzling it into a mug of hot tea brings me joy every time. And it even came in Marseille.

Le Creuset Silicone Honey Dipper
The key word here is silicone with the older wooden versions you could never be sure they were 100% clean. So this is a pleasure to use and to clean. A good buy.
