| Product Care Instructions | Store candles in a cool, dark and dry place. High temperatures or direct sunlight can cause the candle’s surface to melt. This will affect the fragrance level of the candle and will not give off enough fragrance when the candle is lit. Trim the wick to 5 mm - 8 mm and clean it of any debris before each candle use. When you burn the candle for the first time, keep it burning for 2-3 hours. Keep the wick length at 5-8 mm to help the candle burn evenly and prevent black smoke or soot on the candle cup. Ensure that the candle is not in a draughty place when burning, as the wind can cause the candle to burn unevenly and reduce its life. Make sure that the candle burns for at least two hours at a time, but not more than four hours. For longer burns, extinguish the candle every 4 hours, trim the wick to 5 mm and relight it. Extinguish the candle by dipping the wick into the melted wax and straighten it to prevent smoking and also to enhance the fragrance the next time the candle is lit. |
