Ginseng not good for sensitive people
This would be absolutely perfect if it weren’t for the ginseng. As another reviewer mentioned, it causes me major anxiety and makes me feel like my mind is racing. I knew this before I purchased it but tried it anyways and sure enough...I felt crazy all day. I wish they would take it out!

PERFECT for those with proven or suspected MTHFR genetics!
Much of the past decade I spent as a road warrior deploying to disasters around the US. On the more stressful and longer deployments I frequently began taking EmergenC to boost my adrenals and support my immune system, yet the longer and more stressful the disaster the sicker I was each and every time I came home. Several deployments I ended up on extremely high dose steroids for many months, I was seemingly allergic to everything including blistering skin even from a cool shower! Once home I was fine again after many weeks of detoxing (and stopping the EmergenC apparently). So puzzled, none of my doctors could figure it out.I've also had decades of DVTs. Blood clots. And worse. Seemingly reacting at the craziest times. I finally heard about MTHFR but surely, that didn't apply to me... then one night reading, I came across this list of common ailments associated with MTHFR... I felt like I was reading my entire immediate AND extended family history, so I went to 23andme, did the tests, sent them off and when back I uploaded them to a number of sites including livewello and genetic genie. Once learning about MTHFR everything suddenly made sense. That EmergenC junk contains FOLIC ACID which for me and many others is basically a TOXIN!Since learning that folic acid is SYNTHETIC and our bodies need real folate such as provided in Optimal Start, I quickly switched over. I've had much more energy and felt better overall. Optimal Start has made a world of difference for me.

Fantastic for Sensitive Patients
For those of us who are especially sensitive and need very specific supplementation, Seeking Health constantly delivers the highest quality products to their customers. I’ve been navigating chronic Lyme disease and mold toxicity (and all of the fun conditions that come with that) for about 2 years now, and cannot tolerate many of the other brands of multivitamins. I love that they don’t contain methylated B’s, Iron, too much niacin, etc. I can carefully add in my own choice of those vitamins (I use Adeno B12 and Folinic Acid by seeking Health to make certain I’m hitting all of the B’s, and Amino Iron which has been much better for my digestive system) and have had great success. My hair is growing, my nails are healthy and no longer breaking, my skin is becoming more supple, my energy is slowly increasing, and my POTS symptoms have improved tremendously. I always take these vitamins with digestive enzymes for best absorption. These are fabulous! Thanks, Dr. Lynch! You continue to hit it out of the park with your products - so grateful for this incredible company! ❤️❤️❤️

Seizure disorder, migraines, bipolar or schizophrenic, read this first!!!
I'm one of those people, the kind who are easily overstimulated. Before I started working on my liver, if I took one dose of Sudafed, I'd be up for two days straight. Thankfully, now that I've worked on my liver for a long time, I don't have that problem anymore. Typical supplements that people say are great for "concentration" or "focus", are usually abysmal for my sensitive head. L-glutamine makes me feel like I'm going to have a seizure. Rhodiola gives me tinnitus. You get the idea. I know I am sensitive and it finally started to make sense when I heard about MTHFR and having a particular version of the MTHFR gene can make you that much more sensitive to the environment.Unfortunately, I get overstimulated on tiny doses of methylfolate, so I thought I was going to be doing myself a favor by taking this for a few months, first.Sadly, I just took one pill and I feel like I just had some meth or speed. Holy crap! I'm not so overstimulated that I'm getting a migraine, so that's good. But I am so overstimulated that I think I'm going to send this back and order the "Trace Minerals" complex from Seeking Health instead. I have taken pretty much all of the other components of this supplement: I have the Seeking Health B-minus and love it (thanks, Dr. Ben!); I've taken magnesium, zinc, chromium...metals never affect me; vitamin A, C, and E never affect me; CoQ10 has never affected me. Ashwaganda was a lifesaver when i went through some major stress last year. But I have never taken ginseng, so that's my only guess on why this is not a good supplement for me.If you're easily overstimulated, you may not want to try this one. Maybe start with a month of the Trace Minerals (the cost of that one is a lot less), and then move on to this one. Wow. My eyeballs feel like they're about to explode, people.

Not calcium free
I needed a truly calcium free vitamin and this isn't it. Even though it's advertised calcium free, it contains pantothenic acid which contains calcium salt.
