RubbermaidTakeAlongs Sandwich Food Storage Containers, 2.9 Cup, Tint Chili, 4 Count

I had one for years and only recently gave out. I like the size and the fact that they are long lasting!

This has been a bowl size that I've used for some time now. Perfect size to take for large family dinners, church functions, etc. Perfect size for a new batch of chili or soup. Washes well in the dishwasher. Yet not so expensive that if I'm taking a big bowl of homemade something to a sick person I'll just tell them I don't need the bowl back. Not sure WHY Rubbermaid is not stocking this size anymore in the usual stores I normally buy from?

I bought a pack of these years ago at a grocery store and they have been my go to favorites for years until they just recently started to fall apart on me. I have been looking for replacements and couldn't find anything that was the same size and shape so I was happy when I found these. I use them for meal prep- making salads for dinner and they are the perfect size and shape for this.

My wife takes one of these with salad everyday. They hold up fine for a while. These are not the most durable but for the price I consider them somewhat disposable. We replace them probably once per year. The best feature here is that they are completely leak proof. They snap good so I never worry about the lid getting knocked off.

I’ve never tested if the bowl is leak proof with the lid secured.These bowls serve three purposes in our home…1. Great bowl for proofing dough2. When in season, we buy several fruits; mango, papaya, cantaloupe, grapes, strawberries, and create an awesome fruit salad, albeit a very large fruit salad. These bowls are perfect to keep the salad in the fridge.3. We use one to store sugar in the pantryI am certain the uses are numerous. These bowls are lightweight yet sturdy.

Works well

The size is perfect and can be used for so many items, such as soups, vegetables, and leftovers and even cookies. The screw tops are so much better than the regular snap type lids. The containers come in handy when sending care packages home with my guests too! 😊

I desperately needed storage containers and these are perfect. The lids stay secured unlike other products I have purchased that you had to beat the lids with a fist to try to secure them. These lids secure easily and stay on keeping everything inside as fresh as the day they were placed in the containers. I have items from Rubbermaid that are over 20 years old and are still good. Will stick with Rubbermaid from now on comfortable in the knowledge that they provide great products.

Good containers. Lids tend to crack aftera while. But for the price that is not surprising.
