If you grew up in CLE, you need
Bought this for my mother in hospice care. She is 64 and always talked about Cleveland at Christmas time. Not being able to physically go there, this book helped bring back all the warm Christmas memories for her and brought a smile to her face.

If your childhood was spread in Cleveland this will bring back memories.
My family was from Cleveland. This book captures the unique flavor of a Cleveland Christmas. I gave a copy to all my siblings for Christmas this year.

Fantastic!
My grandparents, in their late 80s, grew up in Cleveland and lived there most of their lives. Every night at dinner, the try to remember the names of all the places where they loved to go. Every now and again I send them another book in this series and they go crazy over them. They tell me over and over how this is the best gift anyone has ever given them. But it's also a huge gift for me, being able to sit on the couch with them and watch them get so excited when they remember a place from the book and then tell me stories about them. Really super books and such a great gift.

A Sweet Trip Down Memory Lane
Having grown up in Cleveland in the 50's, 60's, and 70's, this was a lovely trip down memory lane! Especially loved seeing pictures of the decorations downtown. I bought copies of the book for 2 of my sisters and for a friend so we could all enjoy the nostalgia.

Wonderful
What can you say but great I mean it’s about Christmas in Cleveland back in the day when downtown Christmas shopping was special. Has a lot of great information and photos.

Christmas in Cleveland long ago
We loved seeing the department stores at Christmas time when we were kids, especially the animated windows, so just had to have this book. Definitely worth the small price (but I recommend getting Cleveland's Department Stores to supplement it). Text and photos of the Big Four in Cleveland, the Christmas Story house, parades, Hough Bakery, even pictures of old toys. This book is perfect for those of us growing up in the 50's and 60's in the Cleveland area.

Hi Gail
So many of the photos in the book looked just like photos we had of our chilhhood! I gave one book each to my mom and my sister and they couldn't stop reading it--everything else stopped while they kept saying . . . 'Turn to page . . .'---'This looks just like the dresses we both had!'---'Is there a picture of Francis, the Talking Mule?'A truly enjoyable experience of reminiscing!
