They were a little iffy but have since gotten used to it. The cat is still trying to figure out if it's safe. Will update when he comes to a conclusion. The door was easy to install but only came with enough screws for one side. I contacted the seller and they responded quickly and sent out the rest of the screws. It seems sturdy with two pitbulls running through it at full speed when they need to go. I guess we'll see about durability as it gets used. Update 8/9/19: The cat has deemed it safe for exiting only. He refuses to use it for coming back in. It's still holding up with the constant going in and out of the dogs and going out of the cat. The door still swings perfectly and the magnets still keep it closed so the frogs don't come in. I'll update again of the cat ever deems it safe for re-entry. Update 2/19/2020: Well, the cat never deemed it safe for re-entry but the dogs still love it. It has held up perfectly and it opens and closes like it's new. One of the dogs did manage to take the flap off once but I'm pretty sure it caught on her collar and went out with her. It hasn't happened since so I'm pretty sure it was a fluke occurence. Overall it's a nice door that works on screens that's easy to install to give the dogs a little more freedom and prevents the frog invasions in the pool.

This seems to be a good doggie door. I was able to install the doggie door by myself. I needed to remove the screen door and that made the installation very simple. However, I do feel that Namsan is not giving the actual usable vertical size inside the doggie door. Yes, the actual physical vertical opening is 14". However, that measurement is without the door flap. When the door flap is installed, the actual usable vertical size is only 13". I was lucky that my dog was small to be able to use the door without any problems. My dog measures 18" tall at the shoulders. She measures 11" from the bottom of her belly to the top of her shoulders. I installed the door so that the bottom of the door opening was 5" from the the top of the bottom frame. She's able to pass thrift without rubbing or pulling on the frame. I do think it's unethical and misleading to represent the vertical door size as 14" when the actual usable size 13".

Awesome doggie door! This door is great and was easy to install and looks great on our screen porch. We installed the door directly onto the floor to ceiling screen (not onto the screen door) and it’s very stable. Our new rescue dog learned to use the door very quickly! The magnets at the bottom line up the door with the frame to prevent unwanted motion! There’s locks on the door if you don’t want it to be opened! We first had the small size that our cat used. Sadly our cat passed and now we have a new dog and had to get the larger size door which we installed right where the first one was located. Definitely recommend this door!!

I really like this dog door! I was concerned about installation after reading the other reviews but decided to give it a go with the screws that came with it. My 10 year old son and I were able to get it together. The first two screws were really tough (and the manufacturer should add a bit of length to the screws) but once we got the hang of it, the rest were easy. You have to put the screw through one side, the. Push hard to get it through the screen, then Fit it through the other side and start screwing the bolt on. Once the thread catches, take a pair of needle nose pliers to hold the bolt while tightening the screw. The screen cut easily with a razor blade and the door slipped in easily. It took about 5 minutes to train my very food motivated dog to use the door. I love that it also locks if you want to keep it secure sometimes. It feels sturdy and I fit it against the bottom of the screen even though one set of directions said not to. Overall I’m happy with the purchase!

This is a review based on a request by the seller. I have had the product for a little over a week so my knowledge of it is very limited. So far it works fine and it is relatively easy to install. Beyond that I dont have enough time with the product to tell you how durable it is or if it will last.

Got this in 2023, it’s held up to 2 80lb+ dogs running through it several times a day, the only issue I’ve had is the screws do come off, I guess due to the constant use. I purchased some at Lowe’s for a back up. It’s also held up to the Florida sun, I’m just now having to purchase a replacement in 2026 due to the screen in the paw shape coming off.

bought for my cat was really useful and easy to learn that even raccoons learned how to use it and enter my room

Update: auch im Jahr 2023 sind wir noch super zufrieden mit dem Produkt! Hält nach wie vor super! Wir haben die Klappe im Insektengitter IM Fenster eingebaut. Unsere Katze hüpft zuerst auf eine Ablage draußen und dann weiter durch die Klappe rein in die Wohnung. Anfangs ließen wir die Türe draußen um ihr zuerst den Ein und Ausgang ohne Türe anzugewöhnen. Bei den ersten Versuchen brauchte sie ein bisschen Hilfe uns Sicherheit. Danach klappte es super! Wir haben noch eine kleine Leiste mit doppelseitigen Klebeband im Fenster Rahmen und zum Rahmen der Türe hin angebracht. (siehe Fotos) Dies stabilisiert dir Türe noch zusätzlich, da durch das rauf springen und durch gehen das ganze schon lauter ist. Würde sie eben durch die Türe gehen wäre dies sicher nicht notwendig. Die Montage war sehr einfach. Wir sind seit über einem Monat sehr glücklich mit der Klappe. Es erleichtert denn Alltag sehr für uns!

Great product! VERY easy to install. If you’re looking at reviews of several products, this one takes the cake! I initially bought the one that simply (is supposed to) clips together and didn’t work. This one has tiny screws which are easy enough to put through the screen. You also do not have to remove the screen door to install it and you cut the mesh AFTER you’ve installed the frame which leaves so much less room for error. The flap also moves easily and my cats don’t mind it.

Tenemos un border adulto macho y una hembra golden bebé. Compré la de 11x14 y es perfecta. Fácil de instalar también. Ojo si la pones a la mitad de tu puerta, ahí probablemente necesitarás dos personas para instalar (una que sostenga la puerta y otra que atornille). Sumamente recomendada.
