Turns off in water
It turns off when I place it in water, also the temperature gage is off. I use my thermometer I use for cooking to get a better feel for the temperature and this is usually off by 6 to 8 degrees. Which is pretty important when you have a baby in hot water.

Use it for my newborn baby, so far so good. Just put it on the water of the bathtub, more convenient than regular thermometer. Very cute and accurate.
