Dishes are a little shallow. Like 1.5 inch
Would like it a little deeper, but very good for what it is. I just used them for baked pasta dish, and it turned out great. Penne pasta, with alfredo sauce and meatballs.

Great for eating out of as well as baking. My husband has essential tremors in his hands. These dishes are easier to eat out of than a flat plate. Microwave well but can get a little hot on bottom.
