The romper for the real man
I have been rockin' bibs, the only approved man romper, since I busted into this world in the waning days of 1989. Living on a farm can be challenging IF you don't have the right apparel, but with this denim Swiss Army Knife I'm well equipped to do anything from mending fences like Desperado, to milking the cows for that sweet, sweet moo juice that makes me big and strong. I can wear my favorite farm shirt or none at all under these puppies and still ooze that sex appeal. They provide the fit and movement of wearing jeans, the comfort of my favorite thermal man jams (jammie onsie for those extra chilly Midwestern winters), and the storage space of your ex girlfriend's purse - seriously, it was probably like a carry on luggage.IF these bad boys ever wear out, Amazon Prime will have them here in 2 days tops, so no worries.Overall I give it 5\5 hay bales, and whether it's splitting wood, working in the garden, or sighting in your favorite boom stick, you can't go wrong with bibs.

Warning: prepare to be lusted after!!!!
I struggle with BCODS (butt crack on display syndrome). I figured overall would dramatically reduce my neighbors' exposure to my butt crack when working in my front yard. Boy was I right! No more butt crack! Now mind you, I decided to wear these without a shirt and my impeccable new-found style was a topic of discussion at my wife's job. A job she still has, so it must not have been all that bad.Sizing these bad boys was the ticky part. I'm about 5'11'' 250lbs and wear size 40/30 jeans. Initially I picked up 40/30 and 42/30 dickies. WAY too small. Exchanged for 44/30 46/30 and 48/30 of the Big Smith. 44/30 did the trick. Sent the rest back.Pros: No visible butt crack; Look like a stud when worn without a shirt.Cons: Having everyone so attracted to me took some getting used to.Summary: Very comfortable. Very stylish. Highly recommend.I received absolutely nothing in exchange for this review. If the review helped you, please click 'helpful'. Thanks for reading!

Insanity of chest pocket design
I have been wearing the same style of Dickies overalls professionally for a few decades. The design has not changed which is why I like it. I just received 2 pairs of overalls and I was shocked to discover that the chest pockets are now completely USELESS. The pockets used to be 9.75" wide and I could store credit card size items in them (cash/ cards/ear plugs/check/lighters etc... ) The total pocket width is now 6 5/8" wide, over 3" narrower. This makes the pockets UNUSABLE. Each pocket is about 2" wide and barely fits two fingers. You can have small thing in there but you cannot get them out! My decades of wearing dickies overalls every day are OVER. I am LIVID. Here is the photo so show the insanity. Customer service does not give a ****.

Sizing is quirky but not inaccurate
There's a lot of controversy on the sizing for these in the reviews on Amazon and elsewhere and I think I've figured out why. There is a band at the top of the fly zipper (which is long and high, so it ends near the belly button) that more or less corresponds to the waist dimension of the pants, so if that area of your stomach is usually flowing over the top of your non-bib pants, you aren't going to get away with ordering bibs in your normal pants size. You'll need to measure the circumference of your waist just under your belly button and order whatever size that is. If your waist around belly button level is relatively close to the same size as the hip area where you wear regular pants (which is to say: you don't have love handles), you'll most likely be fine with the size you usually order in Dickies. Call it Dickies' way of keeping you honest with yourself.I'm 5'9" and ordered 30x32 and was happy with it, although I did have to let the straps almost all the way out, which leads me to conclude that a person who is significantly taller than 5'9" but still wears a 30x32 (i.e. more total height, with proportionally less leg) may find the torso part of these bibs too short. Also, the butt is very, very roomy- more so than necessary to allow for comfortable bending over- if you have little to no butt, these pants will make its absence very conspicuous.I haven't put them to a ton of work yet but the legs are nice and roomy for long johns and they're comfortable to move and bend in- if the knees don't hold up, I'll update.

gotta love the Dickies
this is my first striped pair, my wife is still laughing, what does she know, gotta love the Dickies, I'm moving towards only wearing overalls as theyre good for all occasions and the ones they're not ok for, I don't wanna go to anyway

If you get a good pair these are decent overalls BUT...
If you get a good pair these are decent overalls. I just ordered 2 pair exactly the same size 40x30 and it is like they are completely different.I read the reviews that they do run small (I normally wear 36" jeans). One pair fit as expected with no issues. The other I am returning because they are at least 2" smaller in the waist and 6" longer in the legs. All the tags indicated they were the same but they are not. It is really a gamble if you get a pair that will fit. This is terrible quality control so you may want to look elsewhere. I have read other people having fit issues too.

awesome product
I wore these about 40 hours a week for three months working in barns and fields and stalls in a large animal hospital and they held up great. Some fading because I had to wash them often (lots of poop and a little blood) but I don't think anyone buys these to be cute so who cares. I don't need them for that position any more but I kept them for yard work because they're so comfortable and they're thick enough that I can kneel in wet dirt and the moisture doesn't get through. I ordered the size based on my waist measurement and they're big enough that I can comfortable layer under them for warmth but they aren't huge when I don't. I've worn them in 70 degree heat for yard work and they weren't too hot but they kept the wind out in January.

The Biggest scam I have come accross
I ordered a 38 inch waist 30 inch leg. I ordered on the 15th July and the estimated arrival date was 27th July to 5th August. They arrived on Saturday 18th July. They were extremely baggy and no way were they a 30 inch leg. I had to return them and guess what? To Indianapolis USA. This cost me £27.83 as I was advised to have delivery tracking. I have been discounted 10 pence from Amazon USA and that’s been that. So I have paid out nearly £80 and they keep the returns and give me 10 pence. I can assure you I am not finished with this yet

Be Ware the cost of return postage...
BE WARNED - if you need to return these Amazon will charge you the cost of return postage to the USA - which is more than half the price of the things in the first place! I spoke to Amazon to complain, pointing out that everyone buys clothes online on the understanding that you can send them back if they don't fit. It's the only way it can work. But they would not budge. The dungarees are great quality, but the sizing doesn't relate to trouser sizing at all. If you're not absolutely sure about the size don't buy. Buyer beware!

These are Baggy workwear not a fashion brand ..
well i ordered the 40inch waist and wasn't sure how baggy these would be and well , there very big and baggy , Just what i wanted ! , from reading the other reviews i don't think people quite understand what these dungarees are ! ? , the're WORK WEAR for doing stuff in or can be used in my case as very baggy loafing around the house kinda wear ! , there not a fitted fashion garment , it's not what they are , the're very baggy , very over sized , very durable , tough sort of garment ..in the U.S. , dickies is a cheap work wear brand for doing work in , but in Europe like Carhartt they get marketed as a fashion brand , the're not , the're WORK WEAR , baggy durable work wear and i love em .. :-)

Don’t buy these
It never fails to amaze me just how poor a buying experience can be. Not only did these dungarees not fit, even after using the sizing guide to ensure I had the right size, but, when trying to return them for a refund I was charged £24 (WHAT?!) to return them to America, which is three times as much as the delivery price I paid to get them to me! If you have ever wanted to look like a hillbilly but had the desire to spend excess amounts of money on the outfit, this is the product for you.

All good so far.
4 stars because I haven't actually done any proper work in these yet, so I can only comment on the fit etc. and not their durability. The sizing chart is fairly accurate. I ordered a 38W/34L and they fit nicely around the waist with enough room for comfort. If you want to wear them as a coverall you will need to go ip a size. They are longer than 34 though, so you may have to turn them up or chop them if you want an exact fit for leg length. The fabric seems durable, there are the usual pockets for storing stuff, and the bib fastenings seem fit for purpose. All in all. I'm happy with the purchase.
