Consider your headstock before purchase
This would mount perfectly at the centre of headstock as shown in the picture. However for guitars like fender or ibanez which has a straight head stock mounting would become a challenge, especially at the centre. You will have to mount on the lower side without screws and then adjust your camera angle on the mount. You would be able to shoot at from one side.Secondly weight of the clamp and phone adds somewhat clockwise torque (for right handed guitarist) on the neck of the guitar like you have never felt before. So one will have to get used to playing with this, especially if you are playing instrumental solos between 12th and 24th fret.Thirdly I think this is meant more for those who mostly play between 1st and 12th fret, as anything you play above that won't be that clear considering the low angle and the distance.Nevertheless this could be a good addition in your existing gear.
