I tried about 10 times to wipe the drive on my HP Windows 10 laptop, which I plan to recycle now that I have a new Windows 11 computer.. It never worked. The operating system would not allow rebooting from this disc. There might be a way to get it to work, but the instructions do not describe how. (I suspect it might work fine on an old system like Windows 7, but that's no good to me.)

This disk comes with specific instructions. Following the directions, it loaded in the computer as described and started to run. However, it quickly produced an error message that it could not locate a specific file. In accordance with the accompanying directions I contacted the company and included the error message A representative (all through Amazon messaging) replied that they would send a replacement disk that was guaranteed to work. It took a while, but the replacement arrived and it worked as promised. The only reason for the 3 stars is due to the error message. The company deserves a 5 star rating for following through as promised.

consider i've wiped at least 10 with this must work great

I had multiple hp and Dell PCs with win XP, 7 and 10. Worked well on Win 10 but could not get it to work on the others. You will need a magnifying glass to read the instructions which are incomplete and technical but the support from the Seller was good,prompt and caring. But we could still not get it to work on the XP and 7 OS. I had to take out the HDs and drill lots of holes on those. Not thrilled with the product other than on Win 10 but I would definitely go to this Seller again

The hard disk eraser works on most Windows computers but not all of them. It has worked on old laptops but not old desktop computers. The CD fails to be recognized and will not boot with the error operating system not found.

Lots of wipe options, including one that took 2 days to run. Estimates of remaining wipe time fluctuate a lot during wipe, but who would care?

Not layman friendly as promised, a degree in computer science would be handy but not being very techy minded it rendered this programme unusable for me.
