Delicious! That’s all the review needs to say! Each bite was tender and flavor packed, it’s not fishy like other dried fish products I’ve tried in the past. This is a great high protein, low fat snack that’s a little bit sweet and a little bit savory. It’s a quality product although it’s a bit pricey, literally the price is my only complaint but you DEFINITELY get what you pay for!

It is smoked strips of tuna with a very mild flavor. The smell is mostly like jerky but with a slight fishiness. The taste is much like beef but maybe a little milder really. I did not get any fishiness on the taste; it tasted really fresh with a hint of maybe ocean, just like ahi sushi. I don’t know where people are getting fishiness from unless they left it in the heat too long or left it open too long. My only complaint is it’s 2oz for a very steep price, but most ahi is going to be that high. It’s a good product overall, but a treat that I won’t be ordering too often.

I bought this product looking for healthy alternatives to protein for my keto diet. Tuna typically isn't as fishy as other fish so I thought I would give this product a try. Unfortunately it was quite fishy in flavor so it ended up not being for me. The texture is also a bit tough, meaning you will really need to chew it. If you don't have problems with fishy flavors then you would likely have no problem with this. If you do then you may be better trying something else.

It’s hard to find fish jerky in the stores, so I gave this tuna jerky a try. The only thing I could taste was salt, with a strong sugary aftertaste. The pieces are paper-thin, extremely dry and very tough. There’s absolutely no fish flavor or texture to this jerky - it could have been beef, turkey, chicken, cardboard - the only taste is overpowering saltiness. Waste of money.

I have been ordering Kaimana fish jerky for a couple of years now and I have to say the kiawe ahi jerky is my favorite flavor. The ahi (tuna) is very soft, which is a bonus. I will continue to order from this seller because it is a great product and excellent ratings for the seller as well.
