The perfect cold pack
These cold packs are heavy-duty and stay cold for 30 minutes or more. I made pillowcases for them out of flannel sheets so the pack does not lie directly on my skin. I have found that keeping the area cold works better than morphine for pain control after surgery. These cold packs are wonderful.

If you need an ice-pack, this is perfect.
My partner has a back injury, and occasional use of an ice pack helps relieve her pain, particularly when she is forced to sit up for a long time (e.g., during a road trip or watching a long movie). These gel packs have a thick but soft, malleable cover, which makes the inevitable leaks rare, and come in a variety of sizes, allowing coverage of large areas. Warning: Use of any ice pack should involve placing a light towel between your skin and the pack, so that your skin doesn't become numb or frost-bitten.

As advertised. Have used for years.
Nice product; sturdy. Have ordered before. After a few years, they do spring leaks at the seams, which is why we replace. Good value, however, for a helpful product.
