Humourous murder mystery
Genre:- MysteryRating:- 4.2This book is very Agatha Christie along with humour. It's the title and the narration of this book that catches everyones eye. It's witty and something really different which I've not seen in crime fiction before. Here the narrator is one of the characters who is writing this book to explain the murders, or tell the events as they have happened. I don't know how one can make murder mystery humourous as well, but this book did it. The writing was so goodAnd the plot? It thickens as you keep reading and the revelation was very surprising and like any other crime fiction there are always clues for the readers too which this book delivered expertly.Loved the overall book.

Not for me
The title got me intrigued but this book didn’t work for me. Although people I know have said some really good things, this book is something which I didn’t enjoy at all.

Nice plot but confusing for a pea-brained person like me
This book was interesting right from page 1. But the end left me reeling like after I watched Inception and Interstellar!

Slow to start, but a good ending
This book has a lot of good- It does feel very knives out, It's not the darkest or scariest thriller, and it had an interesting narrator. Overall I enjoyed this bookThe issues I had are as follows; This book was confusing - maybe this was just a problem specific to me but some of the details and the way it was written made this hard to follow at times. The characters were challenging to keep track of, partly because there were so many, and partly because so many weren't of great importance. It was slow to start, I wasn't fully absorbed and committed until around the halfway point.Like I said at the beginning, the book was good overall, and I may read the next book that this author puts out.

A great read!
This book was so well plotted as well as containing a fabulous set of characters. It was a genuine whodunnit, but the author manages to include so much black humour - I found myself chuckling at the observations of the main protagonist, Ernest. The story is narrated by him , and we are introduced to each of his family in every other chapter, while the alternate chapters move the story along. I haven't enjoyed a book as much in ages and would highly recommend it.

light-hearted, entertaining read
It is a fun read, nothing too sophisticated, easy bed-time literature with an engaging storyline and catchy narrative.

An unusual format
Interesting choice for the narrator to talk to the reader but I have to admit I got bored half way through. Think 'S inspector fall's in a mountain resort. Entertaining nonetheless.
