Short Instructions: Tissot Seastar 2000 Professional (Powermatic 80) 1. The screwed crown (important for waterproof). This watch has a screwed crown. To operate it, it must be released first. Screw on: Turn the crown counterclockwise (towards you) until it pops out slightly. Closure: Press the crown lightly against the case and turn it clockwise (away from you) at the same time by hand. Please note: Only when screwed in the tight condition is the watch waterproof up to 600 m. 2. Winding and adjusting. The crown has three positions: position 0 (tightly screwed): normal. Maximum water resistance. Position 1 (screw): Manual winding. Turn the crown approx. 30-40 times forward to build the full power reserve. Position 2 (half extended): date quick adjustment. Turn the crown to change the date. Note: Never set the date between 20:00 and 02:00 to avoid damaging the movement. Position 3 (fully extended): set the time. The second stop allows you to adjust it to the second. 3. The diving bezel. The bezel can only be rotated counterclockwise (safety function). Align the luminous dot on the bezel to the minute hand to measure the elapsed diving time. 4. The automatic helium valve. This professional watch (Seastar 2000) has an automatic helium valve at 9 o'clock. This valve works fully automatically. You don't have to press or screw anything here. It allows excess helium to escape from the case when decompressed. 5. Care and maintenance salt water: rinse the watch with clear fresh water after each dive in the sea.
