It meets all my requirements at a much cheaper price than the Microsoft Surface Pro. It could be improved if the device supports facial recognition for log-in, but using fingerprint is also acceptable. I would recommend this MateBook E.

The tablet from the get go seems to have it all but as you start using it, you discover plenty of cons. CONS: 1. The back panel of the tablet is rubberised plastic which leaves fingerprints all over it even if your hands are squeaky clean. 2. Horrible keyboard cover with horrible stand. While stand is adjustable to almost any angle which is amazing, when you just open the tablet and start adjusting the stand you have to do it from the top of the device which always knocks the tablet off the cover. Also when I unboxed the keyboard cover, it had two fairly obvious marks on the outside which isn't ideal when you purchase a brand new device. 3. The most horrible trackpad I've ever used. It is so click-y to the point it feels hollow inside and not tactile or enjoyable to use. 4. Keyboard has no backlight - this is a must these days. 5. Unimpressive battery life - while I have not tested it extensively, you'd get 2-4 hours from a full charge. 6. While I love the thin bezels and the fact it uses OLED, the screen feels unnatural to use and look at. Graphics and text are not sharp enough to look at - it almost feels a little hazy. It really saddens me because that was the the biggest feature I was looking towards. I still prefer the 1080p LCD screen of my XPS 3910 (even though in terms of colour accuracy it is also horrible) 7. It is a huge let down that the i7 version is not available in UK 8. Only one USB-C port. If you are charging the device then in order to plug something else in, you need a USB-C dock with a power pass through. Two USB-C for daily use is a bare minimum. 9. Available in only one colour. 10. No storage expansion available. 11. No cellular functionality built into the device. 12. Huawei bloatware - not as bad but the fact they try to get you to sign up for the account is annoying. 13. While I prefer how solid the tablet feels, it would have been better if the tablet had a built-in stand 14. Comes with Windows 11 Home - while it can be upgraded, this process is usually very complex and time-consuming. It would have been nice to also be able to purchase the tablet with Windows 11 Pro for business use! PROS: 1. Beautiful design with thin rounded bezels. 2. Built-in camera into the back of the device. While might see no practical use, it is still good to have it for an occasion where you need to snap a picture such as snagging at construction sites. 3. Bright screen 4. Decent 512GB SSD storage 5. i5 model feels fast and plenty enough for almost all use cases 6. Sound is impressive I'd say if this cost around £600, it'd make it worthwhile to consider purchasing it. As it stands, it is too user-unfriendly to use as a daily driver. Huawei have a lot to fix. Hopefully the next iteration of this tablet will be a lot better.
