This book was such a surprise, so beautiful and much better than expected!I was expecting a small book; however, I received a beautiful larger than life book.12” x 9”Gorgeous photos, in addition, plenty of details on all of the birds.I bought this for a gift, and now I really want one for myself!Highly recommend for bird lovers and for Floridians who are interested in the amazing and beautiful bird life, in Florida.

This book is so accurate. Great pictures and explanations. I highly recommend it for beginners to advanced birders. This is m second copy. I wore out the first one.

I just moved to SW Florida and see all these new birds, at least they are new to me. I kept hearing people saying what they were. Someone recommended this book and I'm so very happy I got it.

As usual, the Stokes do a wonderful job. I bought this book in Florida about 20 years ago. As the Stokes do so well, they present interesting information about the various birds. The pictures Are beautiful. I just bought it for a relative who is temporarily moving to Florida. I hope he will enjoy as much as I have.

I got into Bird watching in Florida. This book is an easy way to identify the birds you see. The low price is a plus.

Not many pages, but filled with beautiful photographs, so it's great for identifying the birds. Not a huge amount of info on them - you'd need an Audubon guide or something more expansive for that. For me, this was just right.

With so many birds in Florida I was looking for a book with true to life photos. This book has the most vibrant photos.

A beautifully illustrated book. The written word is kept to a minimum with no chance of ever being bored by over zealous detail. I feel it is a perfect introduction to Florida's wonderful bird life and would capture the interest of adults and children alike. Perfect for tourists and visitors or even locals who want to know more about the birds around them. For me, there was room to have included a few more birds (it is a thin volume) but also, I didn't want it to end!

This book has really fabulous photos. Not for those looking for a scholarly guide to birds but has lots of bits of info. Really, though, it is the photos that make this book. You can imagine you are in Florida while watching the snow fall in Nova Scotia.
