Auto switching inputs does not work with my cable box. Splitter function to two TVs is great.
Splitter is working OK. It does cause an annoying delay on my main TV when my wife turns on the small TV in the kitchen but I am impressed at how well it works with my 65 inch 1080p LG LED TV and my old 15 inch Coby 720p LED TV. Pictures on both sets are great and the audio is well synched. My previous splitter had a big delay that sounded like an echo.Note there is not a power supply included but I just plugged the included USB power cord into a USB port on the back of my cable box.I was planning to also use it to switch between my cable box and my blue ray player. The auto switching function will switch to the blue ray player when you turn it on but not back to the cable box when you turn it off. I think this is in part because the cable box never stops outputting a picture. I did have a previous switch that worked because it assigned priorities to the inputs.

5" Class 4K Ultra HD LED Smart TV - LG65EF9500-UA
Splits signal, but my 4K television did not recognize the split DIRECTV signal on the output as 4K on another television HDMI port (HDMI4), when the other split output signal was going to the non-4K processor (for audio). Removing the other split HDMI fcable rom the processor did not help. 4K in No 4K out. VCE HDMI Female to Female Adapter Did pass through the 4K signal from DIRECTV HDMI cable to HDMI cable connected to my LG 64.5" Class 4K Ultra HD LED Smart TV - LG65EF9500-UA

Great product for the money!
This has a tough time switching back and forth. Had to use the button on the box to get it to switch back to the cable box. Good otherwise. I have a projector on the ceiling and a LED TV on the wall with a cable box and a blue ray player. This works to switch between TV's and boxes.

A waste of my hard earned money!
Worthless pile of garbage! It displays the picture terribly, it does not output sound and it does not come with a controller! I want a refund!

I am quite satisfied with the performance of this unit; it's a good value.
I was delighted to see how well this worked. I had to acquire a 5v power supply with a full sized USB output to fit the adapter cable this splitter came with, it was straight forward and inexpensive. The splitter itself only came with the adapting power cable, not the power supply. Since I'm not running this splitter off a battery source (which could be done in a motor home setting, etc. ) I needed only the most basic steady 5v. DC supply and not the regulated power that adjusts for a battery progressively requiring less of a charge. I'm running an 8 ft HDMI cable from my Cable company's DVR to this Splitter and an output from there through another 8 ft cord to the TV the DVR originally went directly to. The second and new HDMI cable from this splitter makes a 50ft run to another TV in the kitchen. There is no latency to be heard when both sets are running concurrently; the sound plays at the same moment. Also there is no noticeable picture degradation in the signal to either set, the larger set is a 55" 1080P Sony. Later I will feed this splitter a second source from a Blu-Ray DVD player. The 50 ft HDMI cables on the market run the gamut from gold plating, to special shielding, etc, some have built-in amplifiers, etc. but I went with a relatively low cost quality cable (no amplifier), just under $20. Update: I will add one observance of latency I didn't originally observe. When you have the splitter sending one source to two devices and one of them is switched off, when you switch it on it takes a couple of seconds to pass along the signal and decode it (OK, I get that), but what was a surprise is that the other set that was on and was receiving the signal experiences the interruption to its signal of that second set coming on line. I gather that is because the device is detecting the change and addressing it, so it's just the way it is.
