The GE Druck DPI620 Genii Genii Series Advanced Modular Calibration and HART/Foundation Fieldbus Communicator is a ultra-compact electrical, frequency and temperature calibrator and HART communicator provides simultaneous measurement and source capabilities for the setup, testing and calibration of most types of process instruments including transmitters, transducers, gauges/indicators, switches, proximity detectors, counters, RTDs, thermocouples and valve positioners. The GE Druck DPI 620 Genii Series of Advanced Modular Calibrator and HART /Fieldbus Communicator comprises four system components to provide the multi-functionality to perform duties formerly requiring a wide range of different instruments. These system components are: DPI 620G: A Multi-function calibrator, HART/Fieldbus Communicator. PM 620: Interchangeable pressure modules. MC 620G: Pressure module carrier. PV 62XG: Pressure generating stations. The GE Druck DPI620-G platform is modular in concept, allowing a variety of hardware and software options to be configured to suit a multitude of different applications for the test, calibration and maintenance of pressure, electrical, frequency and temperature instrumentation. The basic component of this system is the GE Druck DPI 620 Genii multifunction Advanced Modular calibrator, a next-generation, ultra-compact, electrical, frequency, and temperature calibrator, which provides simultaneous measurement and source capabilities. Pressure measurement is provided by interchangeable pressure modules that can be attached to the calibrator by a pressure module carrier. Inside of the GE Druck DPI620/G is a fully functional HART field communicator, replacing the need for a stand-alone HART communication unit. A Foundation Fieldbus communicator is also available as an option.
