Dominos and UNO with Rockets!
Preparing for a wet afternoon is paramount on a British holiday and 'Rocket Bang' comes packed in a convenient tin with everything you need. It is a new card game that as aspects of dominos and UNO. To win you need to get rid of all your cards by adding them to the count up and then bang! I would think a countdown from 5 to 1 makes more sense, but either way works the same, just make sure you tell the family. The cards are colourful, and it is a simple game to play that has some strategy to it, although plain luck and taking the opportunities that present themselves is the best way to win. It is a fun game to play a few times and then put away, but not as useful as a plain set of cards that contains a thousand different games to play.

Quite simple but a bit expensive
It is best for smaller children and not so much for older ones or adults. It is fun but after one or two rounds it gets boring. So the price doesn’t seem justified. The rules are simple. The first to get rid of the cards wins. Everybody takes a turn and puts down a card that fits on what’s already on the table. The one with red and grey starts. You build ip from 0 to five and finish with a bang. This one really gets the little ones, the big ones not so much.It doesn’t present other challenges.I like that the game is stored in a tin box which gets it some extra points.

Boring.
I got this out once just to review it with the family and my god what a boring game. Not one single laugh was heard. Boring idea and easily forgotten

A novel fun card game.
I had fun with this card game. It’s also something that would be hard to just copy using standard playing cards. The point of the game is to be the first person to play all their cards. The cards are all dealt equally between all the players (minimum 3 or more). The cards represent fireworks flying into the sky before exploding. However, they can only be played in a specific order. There are 4 start cards which are half one colour and another. You can only play a “red 1” onto the red start card half. If that isn’t in play - you can’t play the card. Yellow 3 can only be played on top of yellow 2 etc. It’s actually pretty tactical with you always looking to play the highest number you have while trying not to put down your low numbers (in turn allowing other players to put their higher numbers on top). There is some luck, but also some tactics. The only downside is that because you lay cards down onto a surface it has a slightly bigger playing area footprint than a lot of card games. You can easily play it at home or by the pool or on a beach. The train would be fine too if you had a table. A plane table might be pushing it.It does come in a nice neat tin however which seems pretty sturdy, so this is a plus.Price wise it’s average. Not cheap - but not expensive. Most decks of card games seem to be around £10 ish at time of writing so happy there. My family and I had a lot of fun playing it and I’m sure we’ll play it again. I’d recommend it.

BANG!!! Ooooooooooooooo Aaaaaaaaaaaaaah
The cards come in a nicely decorated metal tin, which will keep the pristine when not being played with. The game can be played by 3 people and more. You get 52 plastic coated playing cards and a set of instructions. There are 8 sets of different coloured rocket 🚀 cards, numbered 1-6, ending in a bang card. There are also 4 start cards. The game is played by first placing the start cards down, and then laying the number cards on top of the corresponding colours, starting at number one and finishing at a bang! The first player that uses up all his cards is the winner. You start the game by shuffling the cards and dealing them all out. Then whoever has the Red/Grey start card goes first and lays this card down. The next player can either lay another start card, or a Red 1 or Grey 1 card. If they cannot lay a card, then they miss a go and play is moved to the next player. Any player that lays a bang card of a 5 rocket card, must shout BANG! and all other players must then go Ooooooooooo, and we added Aaaaaaaaaaaaah.Suitable as a small gift for someone, or as a stocking filler, or party game gift like pass the parcel. The grandchildren loved it when they visited after school, and kept them fully entertained till it was time to go home.A simple game, suitable for rainy days and holidays, as the tin can be easily packed away in the suitcases, taking up very little room.A great idea and a novel game, that we’re happy to recommend.

Fun game but you could use playing cards
This is a fun travelling game to play with kids, the cards are coated and come in a strong tin. They are colourful and engaging for younger kids. You could however just use standard playing cards so I don’t think it’s good value.
