Chinese red dates

These fruit taste very good, like a cross between an apple and a date. I discovered that they do come from China which is concerning in today's day and age. I ate a few before I noticed this fact. Not certain what to do now...

These are really good jujube dates. Even though they're dried, they're still quite plump. And even though they're sweet, they aren't nearly as sweet (and sticky) as medjool dates... which I like, and which also means that they have a much lower calorie count.In the 1-pound bag there were about 4-5 dates that were dried to the point of being tough, but all the rest were of a nice consistency... a very thin skin on the outside, and a somewhat fibrous interior that had a nice texture to it.I found them to be quite filling when I ate them, so the 1-pound bag should last you for a while.If you read about these dates, you'll learn that they're a powerhouse of nutrients, and are also touted as helping one to calm down and go to sleep. I can't say as I've experienced the calming/sleeping effect (although I tend to be calm, anyway), but I really like the fact that they're so full of nutrients.And it's also great that they're organic.Also note... these ARE seedless. You might be able to find some other jujubes that are less expensive than these, but make sure they're seedless so you aren't paying too much for the seeds... which are not edible.

First bag I ordered tasted like plastic. After removing top half of dates from bag, I tried the rest and OMG, AMAZING! Not sure if the packaging altered the taste, but no returns so I was stuck. Worth the buy though.

This is a very good quality product. Each berry is large, not over dried, taste great. Will order again.

These are worth every dollar. They are perfectly sweet and the texture is just right with them being plump and soft.

Lovely jujubes. First time having them. Made some delicious tea.

Very nice quality. I usually put two or three in my herbal tea and then eat them after I'm finished with the tea.
