Hurricane Dorian Supply
I bought three of these to help assist in keeping my fish alive during Hurricane Dorian. One of the three were broken and when I opened the battery pack, there were parts loose in the battery cavity. I attached one to my 20g thank and it worked fantastic! It powered my own blubber system, without the attachment, for well over 17 hours. However, the item was not powerful enough to do much for my 40g and 29g tanks. They were nice to have while my battery station was charging. It's also good to note that these things are LOUD! I glad I had them as a backup item; don't think they're worth the money.

Does the job
Good little bubbler for the price. I use it when transporting fish.

On Again Off Again, but good visual design
I have owned many pumps of this size that were reliable for keeping a koi pond healthy during power outages from hurricanes. They were plain black boxes, this pretty one has never worked well. I purchased it for a morel slurry and it would start then stop a few hours later. I would check and change battery but never got longevity of this product to do the job. Now I pulled it out again to aerate a manure tea, same old story start, stop, dead!

I Had to purchase this item since we have a koi pond and our electric company scheduled a maintenance power outage for 9 hours and we needed to give the koi air. Worked perfectly for what we needed.

Pay attention to the note inside the box.
Bought this item preceding Hurricane Florence. Note the air line had several pinched places and is relatively cheap, so I used a regular stiffer air line that I already had. The bubbler stone works fine without presoaking. There's a note inside the box that refers to backup step two if it doesn't work the first time you start the bubbler. Bottom line is that it puts out a fairly decent amount of bubbles on high and low. I'm using mine in a 55gallon tank. I was actually surprised. It's not too noisy..not a hum either. Should be fine. Might be overkill 10 gallons or less.
