I’m a veteran cosplayer who’s been in the hobby for over 20 years so you know when I say that Cosplay Fabric FX is an essential and revolutionary book, I am speaking from experience! Most of the knowledge about how to distress fabric is locked behind books decades out of print, specific university courses, or occasionally dangerous internet posts with varying degrees of quality. This book covers at least the basics of everything you could possibly need to know to distress your costumes and make them look more realistic irl and on camera.
