Doesn't work and dangerous!
This tool is low quality and would not for more than 15 seconds or so before the center screw would come loose. After repeated tightening (to the point where the head of the (cheap) hex screw started to round out; I finally gave up. The outer cutters would also come loose during operation. Of course when these screws come loose you ruin whatever you are cutting because it damages the part. I'm a seasoned wood worker and own just about every tool; this thing is dangerous. I would not recommend this to anyone. The screw threads need to be finer (maybe 1/4-28 vs 20); these simply do not stay "locked" and the materials are too soft for even light cutting. Disappointed. I would suggest Amazon stop selling this item; someone is going to end up hurt. This product might work for something easy to cut for drywall, but not for wood. I'd be concerned about cutting overhead with screws coming loose!

Most dangerous tool I have ever used.
Most dangerous tool I have ever used. This thing is too wide to work in a drill press and way too dangerous to use with a hand drill. No matter how safe or careful you think you are being, when this thing kicks back all bets are off. I was trying to build a speaker cabinet. It says it cuts plywood, but even if you are super careful the blades will catch and either send the wood spinning free or pull the drill free of you hand or yank your should out of socket. On my first attempt I used C clamps which it broke free of and sent 2 of them flying. On my next attempt I screwed everything down securely to a wood frame cabinet which still wasn't strong enough to hold the wood in place when it kicked back without my full body weight to keep it anchored down. After about 45 minutes of trying to cut a single hole and nearly injuring my self more times than I can count I gave up when it finally burned up my heavy duty drill. Using a jigsaw is faster, easier, and safer.

Works on wood, use caution and common sense.
It works on wood but you need to make sure all the parts are completely tightened down and retightened after each use. Can come apart if you just tighten by hand. Use an adjustable wrench to torque it down better with the supplied alan wrench. Again, Don't rely on hand tightening only. Also need to have your wood clamped down and placed on top of 2x4's or another layer of wood beneath your work secure and stable. Start slow. Once it starts to cut and make the circle, hold firmly and strait while slowly increasing speed. Use caution and safety. Eye goggles and gloves are a must.

Works well if used with care.
Make or buy a dust cover. This worked very well for cutting ceiling speaker holes but you could use a dust cover. Hold firm. Start slow. Rock the drill so that the cutting is even among the 2 cutters, then speed up holding steady. Could be hard on the gearing of some cheaper drills. There's a lot of momentum and could strain the gears upon stopping.

bad design or should I say copy
what a POG. the whole thing is out of balance and wobbles. the center shaft does not stay in place even after I used a lot of torque on the lock screw. the arm is too weak. bad design or should I say copy. returned.

Not a bad little tool
Not a bad little tool. Just be aware that the set screws are not really suited for any big diameter cut. I replaced my set screws with a steeper angle. Holds up much better now.
