Creature from the Lagoon Watches You - Porthole Wall Decal

This is a great wall decal! I absolutely love it!

Love Love the results! I put the porthole in to bathroom, so as soon as you open the “hatch” (decal) door, you are greeted by the Creature! I have more decals of gauges in the “galley”, also. Unfortunately now I have to sell my GeoPro 15tb trailer, but will hopefully be able to somewhat replicate the design in the van.

You know when you don't realize exactly what you want until you have it? That is this decal. I decided to do my bathroom in Black Lagoon decor (a shower curtain and this decal, I'm not actually swanky enough to match my towels to my toothbrush, ya dig?).I love this decal because it was easy to place and had the option for a bronze color for the porthole. I sort of guessed on sizing because precision didn't matter too much, and neither did placing. The resolution of the image is pretty good considering that it is from a movie from 1954, and the slight murkiness works because Mr Gill Man isn't swimming about in a pristine aquarium.It arrived in a tube suitable for bonking my sister on the head and unrolled fairly easily with no creases. I stacked some laundry on it for a day to get it somewhat flat but that's not necessary, just makes it easier to hold up to the wall and decide if that's the spot. Time will tell how well it fairs in the shower steam, but between the vent in the ceiling and the dry as popcorn air in my state, I suspect that it will do just fine.

I used the 12” on the side of my fish tank. It looks really cool. Once you start sticking it on, it’s not easy, if at all, to reposition or remove. Had some issues with air bubbles so I had to use a needle to pop them and smooth over. It’s a sticker and a pretty adhesive one so once it’s there I’m sure it would ruin it to take it off. Be more careful when applying it, unlike me, and maybe you can avoid air bubbles; however, it’s an easy fix with a fine poke with a needle and then pressing flat. And make sure it’s where you want it before you start.

Didn’t realize I had been searching for this my whole life till I saw the Creature From The Black Lagoon Porthole vinyl sticker. Applied it to toilet seat cover as I hate plain, unadorned toilets. It’s perfect for my bathroom theme and everyone loves it, especially my grandsons. Quality is outstanding and Vendor gives very detailed description and instructions. The media could not be loaded.  We LOVE this decal!! Terrific quality image that we used as part of our homage to Creature designer Milicent Patrick in the graveyard of our Home Haunt. Sturdy vinyl that held up to the weather outside nicely & adhered to the foam tombstone really well. Highly recommended!! 🤘💚🧡🖤
