Glad Amazon carried this replacement plug!
Love this plug. I had an issue with my old Wii U not charging right but this replacement worked perfectly. Charged the Wii U with no issues. Seems to be about the same length as the old cord. Im glad I found this so I can play some awesome games. Would recommend to anyone and buy again if needed!

This charger is an exact match for the original one that came with the console.
I lost my original Wii-U charger so I picked this up as a replacement.Compatibility is not an issue so this charger fits the console perfectly, charges pretty quickly, and fixed the issue of falling out of the port as I had with the original after years of use.I haven't had any overheating issues with this charger as I have had with other aftermarket chargers for the Wii-U in the past.And so far it seems to be holding up quite niceley.The price was very good as I didn't have to spend a fortune just to keep my console fully charged.Hope this helps

Works and stays working
Second time I’ve changed the charger for the game pad. Both the original and a cheap GameStop one burned out, but not before annoying coil whine for months. This one works great 2 years now. I bought a spare too. Twilight Princess and Splatoon split screen with my daughter can continue until the wiiu bites the dust. Good cord.

Replaced my Wii U dock power cord
The cord on my Wii U dock stopped working. This is a great replacement. Almost looks like the original cord minus the Nintendo logo.

Cheaper alternative charger than the original
When I receive this charger, I was kind of skeptical at first, but I was very surprised to see that it works just as good as the original. Plugged it into my Nintendo Wii U gamepad and charged it like the original. Certain things you can tell was cheaper, but it works so thats the important thing. For 7 bucks cant beat that
