I have never written a review, but if you are using this for water safety as it advertises, it's not very sturdy. We are going to the beach and i wanted to ensure my toddlers safety in the water so I searched for something exactly like this and I was elated when I found it. Once it arrived, I took it out of the package, put it on my son and did a little tug of war and the strap that holds the coil to the wrist band just feel off. Other than that everything is very well made, but if I have to actually pull my son out of the water, the part that holds me to him snapped! Here's the good news. If you have a sewing machine, you can reattached it with heavy duty thread and enforce it, which is what I did and it was perfect. Just be mindful of what you want to use it for. to keep up with them in the park OK fine, but for water safety, it needs to be reinforced.

Works great in and out of the water. I love it. The wrist band is really strong and it goes small enough to fit my then 17 month old without slipping off. It give them enough room to feel like theu are walking on their own, but keeps them close.

My two year old had a tantrum and pulled hard on the strap once and it completely ripped off. We thought it was just a fluke so we put the other strap on and the same thing happened with that one.

Overall very happy with my purchase. It feels nice and sturdy, and hopefully able to take a lot of tugging. Only thing that may be an issue for someone is how big the child's side is. If baby had a really small wrist it might be hard to size down small enough. Otherwise no issues :)

Love this thing. Little one had problems with balance with the backpack style so we tried this instead. Still gives her some freedom but prevents her from darting off. Easy to velcro on. Love that the Kid side has two way velcro so makes it a little harder for them to pull open.

Have bought 2 sets. First one broke easily. Was more careful with the second.
