This is a simple way to connect a voice recorder to a telephone line. Just plug it in and it works!

Bought it for a family member, who found it confusing and never used it. Probably would have been just fine for anyone other than Ned Ludd's descendants.

Sometimes I have to record phone calls. This product works great for that. Ensure you research the type of phone you are using, some connectors are different than others depending on country and technology. I’m in the US using Cisco type phones.

This adapter introduces a TON of noise into the recording; you can barely here the voices of the people talking because of how much hum there is. And this is despite the fact that the conversation sound crystal clear through the phone itself. Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to hook it up until after the return window had closed. I have tried this with multiple phones and recording devices, so I know that the issue is with the adapter. If you are planning on recording phone conversations, look for something else.
