This cord is sturdy and nice and long. We appreciated the length as we needed it to hang up something above a door and plug into a low wall outlet. Saved ourselves a lot of trouble as we had misplaced the original cord and this worked great.

The transformer for my Marineland LED aquarium light died a few years ago. It was like $50-$80 to buy a new one. I bought an entire light for $100 instead via Amazon Warehouse Deals. When that one died a couple of years later I started looking at a generic replacement. There are a million out there, so I can’t say how a came across or picked this brand, but I needed longer cable length, wanted the box with wires on both sides instead of a wall wart, and this was probably the cheapest. That lasted just over a year (good warranty engineering). The box was vey hot and had some scorching, but it worked well, so instead switching brands I went from a 3 amp to 5 amp adapter (OEM was 3 amps) in the hopes it will put less load on the adapter and last longer.

This replaced one I bought a few months ago, it hummed all the time and finally a capacitor just went poof. Other than the very short ( 1' ) power cable length this has worked great. Not as hot, no humming and monitor is just humming along. I bought 2 this time and happy that my backup is also going to be quality

Claims to work in 2 sizes of sockets. While that may be technically true, it wiggles and disconnects with the slightest bump. I unpacked it and tossed the packaging thinking it was good until I tried to put it into service so we are stuck with this trash. Do not believe what you read. It does not work in a practical manner for both sizes of socket. Maybe if I were to hot glue it in it would work but this device has no switch. Manual says it Must be unplugged to turn it off and the other end of the e power cord is near inaccessible so there is zero practical way for me to deploy this in our medical office. For out purposes it is junk and likely trash.

I had an old Haier TV that would automatically flash blue and then turn off right away whenever I tried to turn it on. I thought I needed to take it to the dump, but I figured it could hurt to try a new cable just to see what happens and low and behold it now turns on it works like normal again. Thank you. 😊

Físicamente, se siente muy frágil el material comparado con otros cargadores. Aun no lo pruebo, pero en cuanto lo use completaré mi descripción.
