works great, I will not take a flight without this again. It saved me money by not allowing me to overpack.

The instructions on how to change the measuring units (g/kg/oz/lb) are simply incorrect. The way to change the units is to depress the power switch. As soon as the display lights up release the switch and immediately depress it again. Keep clicking the switch to cycle through the units. The scale appears to be sturdy and well-built. Auto shutoff works but the power switch is not protected so the unit can inadvertently power up when packed with other items. Best to disengage the battery when taking this unit along in your suitcase.

The kg will not change to pounds. On the directions it tells you not to contact the seller with any problems - contact the manufacturer. But the manufacturer information, even the name, is nowhere to be found on the insert, or even on the box! I had to look up in my Amazon orders to see who made it, and when I tried to look up their contact info online - nothing. So, while it seems to work, though I have not yet checked it for accuracy against another scale, every time I weigh something I have to do the math to translate from kg to pounds. Made in China, so there you go.

It does the job well. But I could not figure it out how to change display units.

It stopped working after 3 uses, it says that it's overloaded as soon as I put little pressure on it.

This is a fantastic device...it can measure even a fraction of a pound...it just fulfilled my requirements..
