I bought this drain plug 6 months ago or so and it fits my cartridge filter perfectly. Make sure it is compatible with your particular cartridge filter.It comes with o-rings and is exactly as expected.Mine is going strong after six months, my first one lasted 3.5 years through the hot sun and fierce weather. Every time I clean my filters, I pull the drain plug and need to really fight to get it back into place without leaks. These replacements are fantastic, and if you use them with channel-lock pliers, you'll get a great fit every time. They are inexpensive, so I just use a new plug every time I clean the filters.

This drain plug leaks on my Pentair Quad DE 60 filter! Despite using the brand-new O-rings and silicone lube, the plug would leak no matter what I did. I returned it and bought the RV40401 X50 Durable Pro Grade Brass Drain Plug Cap Assembly, that works great.

Works as good as the OEM drain plug. Highly recommend.
