So Far, Better Than Expected
I ordered these in order to find an efficient way to light a path to the back yard. I did have hard wired lights at one point but a tree came down years ago and I had to cut the circuit out.The lights I ordered are solar powered, so no need to worry about hard wiring or shorting with high voltage. I purchased solar powered lights for the front of the house from a different seller but they were also a different style. I'm happy with those lights too, I just wanted to try another style. See which lasts longer or better overall. I ordered 4 of these. I would also like to add, I did minor modifications to the lights (even before checking to see if they worked. I'm quite handy, so if anything, I felt I could fix them.). The modifications I made were to just go around the top seams & the edge of the solar panel with a clear silicone adhesive, just to provide extra protection and in hopes to prolong their life overall. I also sealed around the motion sensor ball at the base of the light panel. I hung them up almost a wk ago, and have had heavy, spring rains for half of those days. All works great. The amount of light given is great too. I have them mounted on the East side of the house with 2 facing East, 1 facing North, and the last on the green shed facing South. They are between 8 to 9 feet high. The instructions included provide info on how to turn on and set the mode preferred. The other thing I liked was, not only did it come with the mounting hardware (screws), the pamphlet came with a stencil to make the hole drilling that easier. All of the lights put out great light so this tells me they're receiving enough sunlight to recharge them quite well, even with the large amount of rainy days. They have 4 modes... currently I'm using the turn on Dim at dusk, but Bright with motion. This is Mode 2. I'm including photos of the lights in both Dim & Bright modes (with the aid of helper to activate motion Bright). I'm also including photos of the mods I did with the silicone, so it's clear what I did. This may also affect the durability or longevity of the product. Keep this in mind for future updates, which I plan to do.The seller I used was "Inngree". I feel that it's important to post the seller used too, because some sellers use knockoffs. This can be helpful when finding different results between people & sellers.***UPDATE*** 6-29-17I was outside during the day today and just happened to notice 1 of the 4 lights I put up had rust stains in it. Hadn't rained in a couple days so I unhooked it and brought it in to take it apart.Looks like I skimped on one of the seams I siliconed, to be honest. So I'm glad I did the extra step in adding silicone beads to most of the top & front seams. Clearly this is prolonging their life already. I cleaned up the rust on all COB LEDs and only 3 LEDs weren't working. I resoldered the LED ends... then went to each COB LED and siliconed them too. It's clear so it should be fine. There's usually an epoxy type coating on circuit boards to protect against oxidation... that's not the case, at least in this LED board. So this is why I silicone them. I reassembled it and this time went over all the seams and doubled up on the one I skimped on. It was the bottom edge of the solar panel. I'm providing the updated photos as well.I went out after dark and all is working as it should again. Still pleased overall. It still works and for the price, I can't complain.

I absolutely recommend buying these if you want some extra light in your backyard!
Awesome lights!!! The always on settings (both high and low brightness) gives off a very warm color light. Here are two pictures of the high and low settings. These coupled with cafe strand lights on the fence give the entire back yard a very nice warm glow. Btw, these are mounted roughly 8ft off of the ground. That should give you an idea of how far they throw light.*Edit: I ended up with four of these lights. They each seem to hold a different level of charge. The charge is indicated by 4 led lights... 1 being barely any charge and 4 being fully charged. I had one that would only ever charge up to "2 led indicator lights" and that one light wouldn't stay on all night in the "always on low" light mode. After returning it and getting a replacement... no issues. The return was very easy. As soon as I sent it back (dropped off at a local UPS Store), a refund was issued the day it shipped and I reordered another one. Now I have 4 lights that stay on "low" from dusk to dawn... exactly what I wanted. I still highly recommend these for all night backyard lighting.

I am so disappointed.: (
Purchased 3 of these, 1 works. Of the other two, 1 remains on dim even though it is set up to become brighter when it senses motion. As I stated, only one works correctly. The 3rd one is completely broken. I wanted to have a row of these lights over my garage. Don't know what to do as I drilled holes in to mount the fixtures and now I have exposed holes in my wood siding. I am so disappointed. :(

good outdoor "night-light"
firstly-- kudos--super-fast delivery---item packed well and as described. THANX! i bought a set of 3, intended for a different purpose (that didn't work well) --NOW they are working VERY NICELY in a few areas that had no previous lighting --OR -MAINLY- WIRING! These are excellent outdoor 'night-lights'...ADJUSTABLE, TOO!....also,.2 of them really get NO Direct sunlight AT ALL, yet have performed perfectly....SO FAR......Which brings up the (only) 4-star rating---i've only had them in use a few weeks, so...."WE'LL SEE"......
