The gazebo looks great and is made very well. The hardware is all heavy duty and the cedar wood is high quality with a nice medium brown stain. Everything went together perfectly with all the pre-drilled holes linking up great. The product service was very friendly and helpful to provide the stain code so I could get a sample from Home Depot to touch up a couple of spots I scuffed up while moving around on a concrete patio while putting together.

This gazebo is well designed, the hardware fits -- all 8 bajillion pieces -- and the instructions (except for one part) are well done. It's a lot of wood parts and a lot of hardware to go with, but except for standing it up and putting the roof panels in, it was a smooth assembly for one old dude. Holes aligned well, and the frame was almost square, requiring a little bit of adjustment. I was missing one bag of parts in the shipment to anchor the posts to the patio slab, but Backyard Discovery contacted me by email (on a weekend, no doubt) to let me know it would be shipped asap. The posts are not solid, one-piece cedar. For the price, that shouldn't be a surprise. It's plenty sturdy, and I hope it lasts for a long while. Overall, I think it's a good value for the money, and it look great on the patio. More importantly, the wife likes it a lot.(One Note: the "logistics" company that delivered the kit is another story. They sent me confusing emails, a dead link to schedule the delivery, then no one showed up or contacted me on the first delivery date, and then "incorrectly" reported to Amazon that I had called to change the delivery date myself. They re-scheduled once again for a morning Saturday delivery, then an hour later changed that to the afternoon, and showed up a 1/2-hour after the four-hour window for the delivery. In fairness, I would imagine hiring and keeping drivers and helpers is a nightmare. But their communications were either downright misleading or completely wrong.)

Allow a full day with help. The directions were pretty clear although we did have reverse ourselves once. You will need at least 1 helper until roof time. The roofs really require 4 people to hoist them into place.

We love this gazebo! Sturdy and classic!

Looks nice but not the sturdiest Gazebo out there. Wood is very soft; the woodpeckers and carpenter bees had a field day with it. I had to patch it twice in a year and the factory stain was very poor and drastically faded After just one season. I had to re-stain the entire gazebo.

Looks amazing. Exactly what I was looking for! Definitely use the bilt app for easier assembly instructions. 1 part was missing from a damaged box and customer service from backyard discovery was wonderful to deal with!
